I would personally argue in the last 2 games as the sample tk has been one our worst forwards. He had 0 legs or fight in him. In others I at least see them trying even when they make the wrong read or bad pass. With tk it looked like he had completely given up.

Not saying he has been great by any means. Just others to sit before him; this is how you potentially get players to turn on you.

Morin is in tonight.

Coots ir date was retro active from the time he first went out. It was a move just to free up a roster spot. He technically will be eligible to come back in like 2 days but av said yesterday he was about 2 weeks away.

Av says tk is one the flyers 3 best forwards but also said 5 on 5 play from his top guys has been bad. Tk is the one paying for it today but there will be others he implied strongly.

More likely than not.

Av also seemed to imply that the defense has been better and their defensive issues are being driven by the forwards more than the defenseman. Not absolving them but pointing to their breakdowns being the leading cause and its hard to disagree with that assessment

I had the same type of injury as Coots about a year and a half ago. For a few days the pain was excruciating and I was confined to bed. eventually I was able to get along just fine. That being said, I was terrified of the slightest agitation aggravating the ribs and once again being laid up.
I can’t blame him for being cautious. My god. It was awful.

Perhaps there’s an aspect of size and snarl they want for playing the isles as well? Tk certainly didn’t do anything vs them in the playoffs.
