That’s the good problem to face if healthy with a deep forward lineup. - NC Flyers Fan
Right. I’m sure chemistry will dictate as well. |

It is a huge concern but another poster makes a good point. Poor overall play yet the Flyers are 4th in the league in the standings. Normally when a stretch of crap play comes they get buried in the standings. - MJL
Solid goaltending helps a lot. |

Bill Meltzer: Flyers Gameday: 1/30/21 vs. NYI - bmeltzer
Islanders in my opinion are a mirror image to the Flyers. They’re deep up front. They’re fourth line is as good as ours. We just need to match their work ethic, which we didn’t do in the playoffs. |

I understand your whole stance on the competing aspect of it but how can you not say this is a slower team? That Hughes line in the second game made it evidently clear. We do not play with a fast pace either. I’m not saying you can’t be successful being a slower team but to deny it... - ClaudeFather
I would not label the Flyers a fast team but they aren't slow either. They're an average skating team and skating ability is not the issue. As far as the Hughes line, perform a simple home study. Don't move your feet and see how fast you're walking. Have someone walk by you while standing still and see if you can catch them. The Flyers have been doing that a lot lately. Flat footed and not playing aggressively. There is a difference between actually being slow and playing slow. There is a lot that goes into the latter to create that illusion. |

I'm watching the Devils game right now and they said the Flyers played pretty poorly for 2 periods last game but Hart held the line when talking about it |

Well put. Agree and can’t wait til we do have an exceptional skater that is quick and fast. |

Hagg, prosser, and Morin in? I think AV wants a streetfight. Looks like he’s pulling out all the stops for this team not to get pushed around. |

Im very interested to see how The Flyers respond tonight to a team that has basically owned them for the past little while.
Yeah Yeah, they took them to 7 games last year, but that series was not nearly as close as it ended up.
The Isles at 3-4 may tell you they aren't that good and that the Flyers should win. But they always seem to beat up the Flyers from a physical standpoint. Will this team wilt or will it push back?

I just think he wants to send a message to his own players....they have a good record but have played like poop....if Konecny is benched...that’s a pretty loud message. |

Yeah. Where’s the Jam. They have their way in front of our net and have our guys hesitant. |

As bad as they have been it is their O depth that has won them games. Yes, a high shooting % but to have that you must have the talent and depth. Time will run out on this soon, and goal tending |

Well If Morin is in the isles are a good game. They want him to be like Martin and they don’t want to be intimidated like the PO but benching TK would be to far in my opinion |

Ah Florida. I just assumed we were all stuck in this miserable sub 20 degree weather. Thankfully we are relocating in the spring south. They have hockey down south finally so its acceptable - Tfaehner
It is great down here. Though it’s been a chilly 66 degrees the last couple days. Just 4 days ago I was enjoying the 75-80 degree weather. |

I understand sending a message and I know TK hasn't played well recently but I would still play him. Hopefully AV can just ream him out privately and maybe it sparks him.
I just don't think we have enough talent on the wings to step into the top 6. Unless Laughton moves up to Patrick's line and they try to fill the 3C role? Can Farabee play center? |

I'm going to hold off to see if one, Konecny plays or not and if he doesn't. Is there an injury issue.

We have three zones of weather on our peninsula in the winter. The Northern tier of counties get Southern 'We have no idea what's next.' climate. Get lower and it's TAMPA (Land of Champions) Orlando style and cool snaps are a surprise. Going from Ft Myers to Miami you are in the Swamp land and it's Caribbean, where you are rarely punished with a freeze and every exotic species comes to play.
Leaving the doors open is a frequent aid and the birds chirp.
Not the worse situation.
Twenties......NOOOOO!!!! - Pompous
I’m a northern Florida guy. Migrated 2 years ago. Pretty accurate assessment. I would also say our weather pattern is also like no one else. One minute it’s raining like Noah’s ark and 10 minutes later the roads are dry.
A bad day in Florida is a good day anywhere else.
I have never been happier anywhere else that I lived. |

I got my undergrad degree in Florida. My father in law is down there too. I told my wife I wouldn't go down until they had hockey rinks. Now they have hockey rinks and Tom Brady (her family is from New England area) so we agreed its time - Tfaehner
Look into St. John’s County. But school district in the state. I work there. And it’s booming. Jobs, housing, everything. St. Augustine. And 20 miners from Jacksonville. |

Florida has a lot of nice places. I am in SFL, I will get a couple 40 degree nights in the winter, then a good number of 50's, with the breeze it is actually cool enough to be fire weather from the 60's and below. Just my opinion but for 5-6 months it is the best weather on the planet. |
