I would say Haag. I think Haag gets more criticism than he deserves but last game he was absolutely brutal with the puck. I don't think he executed a successful pass the entire game.

I still have the habs taking that division. They made some really strong off season moves plus their kids have progressed rapidly. They play good hockey fun to watch tbh.

I think I’m the only person here who doesn’t get or understand this old chemistry of Provorov and Ghost. If this pair was ever ideal, they never would have been split up. To my memory, they were put together late in 2018 and heading into the playoffs but were never a long term pair.

They played together more than half of 2017-18, and were very good until Ghost had tough series against Pittsburgh and Provorov got injured in Game 5. They both struggled, collectively and individually, out of the gate the next year and they were split up by Hak/Murph after a few weeks.

Gus has been freaking awful. Imo apart from a period of the very first game of the season. Hes been a black hole of bad reads and bad turnovers and lackluster effort.

Friedman has barely any nhl experience and has not shown anything more than a tweener. He had a higher compete level in the first game vs the 2nd.

Hagg and braun have been bad but they have a ton of nhl games and we know what we are getting. In a perfect world they aren't in the lineup but we don't have that ability. Also who would play on the pk if you took them out for friedman Prosser ghost all in the same lineup.

Prosser has been a descent bottom pairing guy in the nhl. Descent size. Descent work in the corners. Willing to block shots. It can't be significantly worse than the other options.

I agree on Gus and for him to be out again tells me AV really wants to send a message. While I agree about Friedman, Hagg and Braun have been that bad where you could and should sit one of them and give Friedman a chance to catch up. Being fair, Friedman hasn't played since last winter and is now playing in the NHL? I get it as I said in a prior post, they go with experience. Gus was bad, Hagg and Braun have been every bit as bad. The difference is it looks like they are trying while it appeared Gus didn't care to try. I also stated with this crazy season all deserve a chance to play better.
