Agreed. It is one reason I am disappointed in the offseason. I think this was the year we should have made major moves. I think this was the perfect offseason to move Malkin and Letang. Gain some cap space, younger players and a more hungry identity. Maybe we could have grabbed some top wing options as well with the space and even grab a good player with the top 15 pick. I agree that firing the coach still won't change the personnel. Plus no coach is going to discipline Malkin when he gets lazy on shifts.

I think we are finally stepping up and making an effort, but there should be 100% effort every game not just parts of them
