Yes, Brutal division for sure.

The one big plus you guys have going for you is that you have several guys who are legit high end/elite players. Zibs and the bread man will produce. Krieder is all over the place but is a strong player and will put up numbers. Several other guys are definite quality. It's a good roster. The PP looked really good against us.. Igor is way, way better then he's shown so far. It's just not all clicking for some reason. It should at some point and your team has the capacity to go on a roll when it does.

Good luck. (not against us).

Hughes has looked pretty awesome for you guys. He probably needed another year at the college level last year, but man oh man he is looking legit. That snipe in yesterdays game was really impressive.

Kreider is lost, Zib is on drugs, Strome is Strome, and Panarin isn't playing up to his level yet.

All of that adds up to when is the draft lottery!

Panarin is distracted with Russian political protests.

They showed him the last 5 mins of the game last night on the bench. He did looked drugged up. I have no idea what is wrong with him. This is the worst he has ever looked as a Ranger

He missed all of camp due to covid, affects guys differently. Buddy of mine just got over it, he’s in good shape, normally runs 2 miles a day, he went for a 2 mile walk this week and said by the time he was done he was drenched in sweat and sucking wind. I’m willing to give Zib some more time, we have no idea if hes still recovering physically from corona

He's night and day from last year; and a lesson that we all rush our top prospects these days. That's why I think you guys need to stay patient with Kakko and Laf. The talent is there. It takes time.

any normal year, Lafreniere would have played 5 pre-season games at this point

Ha this is probably true. Im trying to watch objectively and not get too excited by them and enjoy watching the young kids play well. Miller, Fox, Chytil and Kaako have all looked really good and the fourth line we ran at there yesterday looked like a legit fourth line. That being said I broke the F out off my controller when Pitt scored that goal.

This is how I looked at the season initially...until it started. Now I want wins, dammit!

there's too many wingers here and Chytil puts them in a tailspin down the middle because they have absolutely no depth

they need to address this problem down the middle, its maddening

I could tell by the angle of Chytil's wrist when they hit that it was likely it flexed downward, stretching out the wrist joint in the same manner you would when applying a wrist-lock to someone. He was instantly cradling that arm as he fell to the ice.

I expect excellence god damnit!

In all seriousness I just think if you sign a big contract expect to be a leader or captain, you better (frank)ing show it on the ice even when you aren't scoring. I mean he looks neutered this year. I can't remember him doing 1 armed sticks checks as much as he has. Its like he doesn't even (frank)ing care and is purposely avoiding contact.

Panarin also got married. Never a good thing for a hockey player. I forget what shift it was in 1st penguin game, but Panarin turned the puck over on three different occasions over a 30 second span. Don't remember him ever doing that last season.
