Basically one great chance in that period. And Erod shanked it. FFS. |

Rod is just missing that extra bit of skill to be on this line. He’s in the right place, working hard. Just can’t put it together. |

How many redirected goals against Jarry so far this season? I can think of 4 or 5 and I haven't seen all the goals against him. - MattStrat
Better than him just getting beaten I suppose. Prob easier to stop deflections than jarry learn to stop a straight shot. |

Malkin is the worst player in the ice. |

Jake had a great chance that was stick saved. Malkin and Letang had a 2 on 1 which Malkin gave to the defender. Those were the two big chances I saw. |

Ceci and poj looking good so far. Minus that whiff of the puck by poj on that clear. For a skinnier dman though he plays pretty physical in his own end. Always pushing someone around. Hopefully with age he bulls up a bit. Both adding some presence in their own zone. Malkin really needs a shoot first mentality though. - 10inchTerror
One thing I remember Velluci said about him is that even though POJ is skinny, he's pretty strong and does better than you'd think in the weight room. Just can't put on weight. |

This team is so pathetic, I think Crosby needs to get in a fight in order to fire them up. I can't wait until Sully is gone. |

I'm starting to really hate Erod and it's not even his fault. Sully has him in a role he can't handle. |

Take aways so far. E-rod shouldn't be playing on the top line or any line above the 4th. Would rather see kap, zuck, or anyone on the top line wing at this point. Zucker needs to stop passing and start shooting like Rust. Every time it touches his blade he should shoot. He is killing it by passing every time he touches the puck. |

He's just not good enough. But he's not a disaster so that's where Sully will keep him.

My man Blueger with two nice passes to set Zucker and Rust in position to score. And just in case yinz forgot, that was Blue that set up Guentzel. He is playing well. |

Yeah I remember that comment. He’s only 19 though. I think at that age I was about 160 haha. So yeah never know. He could be a petts or he could bulk up a bit still |

Yep. And Guentzal doesn't look terrific either. Just seem like Sullivan is willing to starve the first line for the benefit of the lower lines.
Whelp.... Rod gonna get replaced now. |
