Looks like where he belongs at the moment. Blackwell has more goals in one period as Gauthier's replacement than Gauthier has had in 23 games as a Ranger.

Gauthier is an imposing physical specimen at 6'4" and 227 pounds and has speed to burn. He plays as small as the 5'9" Blackwell. Does he use his size to go in the corners and come out with the puck? Is there any snarl to his game? Does he see a teammate being abused and return the favor? You wonder why it only took Joey Keane to land him? I keep waiting for him to do something and am mostly disappointed. Quinn had seen enough. We shall see how he responds when he returns to the lineup up. If he plays with the intensity and enthusiasm that PDG does that would be a major improvement.
