Some of you can keep complaining about the fyers being slow blah blah blah. Teams look slow when they arent playing well. i Dont see much in the way of team chemistry.
AV has to be banging his head against the wall. Basically the same team as last year yet they look like they dont know their dzone coverages and no cohesion offensively.

First time you can honestly criticize Fletch, he failed to fill that Niskanen hole and it looks very bad. We were one injury away from a disaster and it happened . Friedman is awful. Imagine Provy went down.

He just has no offense to his game. He is not a fast skater, he never shoots the puck, and tends to worry more about his defensive positioning than he does about making a play. I am sure confidence is part of it, but in his first 2 seasons in the NHL, Patrick scored a total of 26 goals. Elias Pettersson scored 27 goals just last season. I may not be hockey smart, but I can compare, and right now its not even close.

Didn’t we have 3 PP goals last night ... or two because one had expired. Good call tho

The Flyers are making them look a lot better than I think they are. But you have to give the Bruins credit. No Pastrnak, no secondary scoring, no problem ... they are well coached and have a good defensive system.

I think to be fair they need to give him 15-20 games to kind of give a proper assessment. I would call the pick a disappointment so far but I don’t think we can write him off yet...maybe wishful thinking, but I still get the sense there’s more there.
