Exactly, I actually do think they are trying .. they are just not that good! Their reaction to the puck is so much slower than the other team, its really sad.

The Flyers look like absolute ass. Braun, Friedman, Gus, Hagg all look terrible. Nobody is skating or husting, nobody can make a clean pass. They just look pathetic outside of Hayes and Voracek. Refs have also been unacceptably terrible

Wow is this awful...Patrick is obviously not ready to play at this level after a full year off. Gustafson is just terrible. I know they miss His when and Coots but they look like they've never played before.

Perhaps you don't know the rules on this forum, you can't critique Patrick, he is after all only 22 and missed a season, plus it wasn't his fault he was drafted number 2 overall by the mighty drafting Zhar Hextall. We shouldn't expect too much from him. (-:

Can’t blame the refs for all your issues when you’ve been not only playing terrible since opening night but also getting lucky. Tonight our luck might be running out playing this way.

They can’t make 5 foot passes....the Bruins have all there forwards back check every play....they have all 5 guys collapse in their own end, get in to shooting lanes and have active sticks. They just are out working the Flyers in the trenches. 12 shots after two periods ? The better team is winning, deservedly so.

Yeah...I know, last year I made the mistake of questioning if he would be back and I turned about a thousand people into neurologists. Perhaps he will pick up strength as the season goes on, but he's pretty lousy in the early going
