You dont need to panic. We know this team is a top team when they come to play but the issue here is that they didnt come to play. They didnt just lose. The looked like they didnt belong in the same league as the Bruins. You need to have a better effort than that.

This team should and will make the playoffs but we need better and more consistent efforts from our players. It looked like we had 20+ PLD's on out team coasting.

I really dont understand this team sometimes. We all know how good they are when they skate and play with intensity and then we get games like this where the team just seems like they are playing pickup.

Its never one player either. You cant look at the game tonight and say anyone played well. One positive is that they literally cant play any worse but it can be concerning when the team looks lethargic.

it's the (frank)ing captain

They just won the cup and are perennial cup contenders since the past 5 seasons. That series was an anamoly. They just got cocky.

They go through funks and losing streaks. They lost to Columbus yesterday where they didn't play well except for maybe a 5 minute push.

This team as presently constituted is not a real cup contender. A few pieces away, and the youngsters like Patrick, Frost, Farabee, etc. Need more seasoning. Its only been 45 years...what's another couple?
