Montreal sucks
- Pacificgem

I took a bit of heat for picking them 3rd 8n the division. They have 3 decent 2nd lines and a 3rd line, with decent defense.
I stand by my predictions.

BTW, Canucks in 6th

Lost huge, but tied for second in the East.

Seems like everytime I look at scores they are getting their asses kicked. You sure know how to pick the winners don't you

Is Gallant the answer?

He coughed it up and it is not really debatable

Horvat was being checked, nobody was pressuring hughes. Montreal was changing

he shoots the puck waist height at Horvat? It gets knocked down and fresh legs from montreal with a breakaway.

Sucks that he followed up two great shifts with just a braindead play that decided the game

Here's the reply. He is attempting to re-treat and swipes over the puck. Twice it looks like. Might want to be a bit stronger on his stick next time,

Laviolette would’ve been good if Green was canned earlier.

Petey got off the Schneid...

- LordHumungous

Well him and Boeser can't both be shooting from the blue line at the same time. Green was smart to move them on different lines.

To be honest, the Canucks are what I thought they are, a poor defensive team who are no longer propped up by goaltending....as for the Flyers, they’re fine, not an elite team, but a good well balanced team despite missing their number one center and really well coached.

Are we at that stage where our HC has overstayed his welcome and a change in that department will change things? Or is the schedule this year too condensed for a coaching change to have any effect.

I highly doubt you are willing the team to lose like many on here...

I would really like to know why everyone thinks a coach that has been fired twice in three years is the answer.

There were teams that were looking for a coach and passed him over.

Have they actually beaten Van in the past two games or has Van gifted wrapped the living poop out of every game?

Disagree. Line juggling 6 games in is not a good sign for Green. Let them play through their problems.

I'm sure the next coach will be better at telling them how to cough up the puck and gift it more often.

Flyers have one more win than us .

We have stunk and played like a bad AHL team . We are also 11 days into the season. Taffoli had 1 point before playing the Canucks . He has been set up for beautifully goals by Hamonic Petey Hughes Myers .

True. But Green needs to get this club rolling. Not much time left. I personally don't think a coaching exchange at this point is the answer but Aquilini is running the show lol
