It's not just the points that make a player though.

Or did you already erase from your memory how much he contributed to send your "cup winning" Leafs home in the summer?

PLD is a gamer, every single team would love to grab him.

He doesn't seem like a fortnight kind of guy to me

Are all of these things before my time?
- TheMussel

I guess so!

Hollywood Grill was the bar/restaurant in Parkway Plaza. It then became "Back in an Hour" -I think it's now a Wild Wing (or some other wing chain).

The Wexford was an institution - on Lawrence. Just shut down.

Collegiate Sports was on Warden, just north of Ellesmere. Back in the day, that's where your dad took you to buy any sports equipment: shoes, skis, hockey, baseball, fishing. Everything. It's now a Fabricland. I posted a picture of the Fabricland a couple of years ago on Facebook (I told you I was old), and I got about 1,000 replies from people telling stories about their first pair of skates, camping equipment, blah blah blah.

Dubois is an upgrade on Hischier, also, that would give them great depth at C

Hunter's Pizza at Huntingwood and Birchmount used to be our go-to restaurant. Killer pizza and greek food back in the day.

If it wasn't late night chinese food then it was wings at Markham Station.

Also, Tony's East was an institution for the underage and uninitiated

Drinking happened at the Ballroom

- TheMussel

I've never heard of the third one. Was Tony a nice guy?

I was a Don Mills kid, so it was rare that we would venture north of the 401, although the Pizza Hut at VP and Sheppard was known to serve an underage drink or two.

Not on the table, ever.

Trading Mo would be a massive mistake.

fine, you convinced me.. Kerfoot, Dermott and Hyman for PLD
- PatC80

No trading Hyman. No!

He's the only one who fetches pucks.

I remember the first time the Leafs traded Clark and got Sundin and it broke my heart, and I knew in my heart of hears that we got the better player in Sundin, but still . . . but what I didn't realize was that losing Sylvain Lefebvre in that trade would decimate the performance of our defense because he was the one who was doing all the hard work.

Would you be willing to give up Kappo for him?

I love Kappo personally, despite him not scoring 100 points in his first season. The fact he's cost protected for longer is also worth something.

Rielly has been my favourite Leaf for years...

I am starting to change my opinion

Wedgewood? looks mediocre at best.

I like Severson as a 4/5 guy.. Bratt had a good start, then slowed down. Wood has some Jam.

Dude, I legit cried when the Leafs traded Wendel..
Hyman is in a contract year, I hope we can afford him, but not sure we can.. It's safe to say, he has out-performed his contract.

Ok Jonas.

But you're right about one thing, Nylander has no business being compared to PLD.

- Arctic_AARDVARK

Yeah, Nylander scores more and plays harder.

No, not yet. But there's plenty of good prospects to chose from now.
