Don’t forget the AO hug. That means something!

Huge statement, humungous, in fact.

Consider us even for when Kotkaneimi tried to take out Pettersson.

Eric Engels reported there probably won't be a suspension on the hit.

I'm guessing sunday's game won't be pretty.

This team is feeling very Colorado Avalanche-y. One good season, then a step back, then turning things around with an influx of draft picks and a good GM.

MacKinnon was drafted in 2013, Landeskog in 2011. It's been a long time for their stars to and team to come together.

Just need to ship out JB and Green.

This is what I said last night. A top 10 pick this year could be pretty huge for the team moving forward. Imagine getting to draft Carson Lambos, that'd be sweet.

That said, it's very early and they still could figure it out, I'll cheer for wins all along the way.

If the Canucks can keep executing that tic-tac-toe pass to Horvat on the powerplay, they'll score plenty of goals.

Habs had no anwser for it over 2 games and Horvat shot it perfectly each time.

No further discipline expected by NHL Player Safety on Tyler Myers...good hit, blindsided, other than that, good hit.

They are both just voicing their frustrations which is fair. The Canucks have embarrassed their fans. The Canucks decisions this off-season were correct regardless of the results. Benning (frank)ed up a bunch of signings and as a result they may need to step back for a season
- CanuckDon

Yup, I thought they would take a "slight" step back this season, maybe I was too optimistic.

I can't remember the last time I saw such poor defensive play. They'll be in trouble if they lose again on Saturday.

I'll repeat, because you and a few others in here seem a little thick....Clean hit.

It is outstandingly bad. Green's system works when everyone is on top of their game and pressuring as a unit. When people are slow to their man, or things are even slightly off, it's so easy to expose and it looks like pond hockey as everyone is just running around.

Embarrassing effort defensively, looked like the Portland Winterhawks out there, not the Vancouver Canucks. Disgusting!!

Fair enough to be frustrated by the results but the cause is misdirected.

Regardless of the bad signings. Plus the NHL world changing where JB couldn't buy himself more time. Having Marky, Tanev and TT in a game like this the same results would happen.

Its not about lack of talent in a step back but the talent lacking in their play.

Can't even blame coaching they don't tell you to gift the puck over. Its just a calamity of circumstances. I'm looking for patterns and so far it seems team cohesion is not clicking. Players are making gaffs they normally wouldn't.

- NuckUp

No, TT wouldn't have scored 5 goals and an assists against us if JB had signed him.
