Which is why he doesn't have much value in a trade.

I think Columbus would be asking for at least: one of Suzuki or Kotkaniemi, plus other assets. I don't think there is any move to be made that doesn't look sideways for the Habs here. Plus, they would have to send some salary the other way to fit Dubois' contract under the cap.

I would do KK but not Suzuki

can't pay that for your 3rd center if you want to win one day, I'd pass

Danault's contract is directly linked to KK and Suzuki's performances this year.

If both keep playing the way they have, and Evans keeps improving the way he has.

I don't see us giving big money to Danault.

He played 10 min yesterday.

And it's not because we didn't take penalties to have him on the PK.

I mean, technically you could with a 6-7M$ goalie but not with Price no.

is 5M big money? but yeah I guess you're right, if the kids continue on this learning curve it will definitely influence MB's decision

I mean KK had two good games and 3 average ones. His winger has 7 points and he has 3. It's not bad but i'm not thrilled by his start either

He's involved in the play, had at least one if not many scoring chances every game, creates stuff with good forecheck, makes big body checks....... There's obvious chemistry building with Armia and Toffoli too.

Wouldn't you say he's considerably improved over the same time last year?

Tip of the iceberg with him man. I think he's playing great.

And he's only 20 years old.

I still think he's more useful to this team than most people are giving him credit for (and he's not your 3rd line center yet) but oh well.

I'm not sure I would want Dubois with the Habs.

Bergevin made enough changes already.

Let that team play.

And why would you bring a guy who could bring trouble in your own locker room?

Oh for sure, he's very useful, don't get me wrong.

But...he did mention that he didn't want a more defensive role upon signing his next contract (or something of that nature).

If the kids pan out, he'd have to be the 3rd line center, so....he gone..

oh I'm not saying your wrong or anything, but I said many times here MB would look at how #14 and 15 are doing this year AND if they do well, Danault is going out

Its early, but its pointing out in that direction !! Even more since Evans is playing well !

It would be hard not to improve over last year when he got sent down to the AHL.

Wow if this is the trade, where do I sign? We already have 3 RW signed for 4years+

Danault is good but PLD is way better. He has amazing talent and would fit well with a Toffoli or Tatar. And a 1st.. we are already filled with prospects and picks

- MONSTERSofMETALZ

PLD may be better but you might be surprised at how close they are in actual production.
