We haven't had a rookie like this in AGES.

Indeed, kid is beyond impressive.

so the Canucks' power play was struggling, but MTL made sure to wake it up...

I'm guessing your goalie stats took a hit tonight

Jake Allen in goal tomorrow, Habs will win
- habs88888

Yeah ... I've seen Carey have better games ...
Not that he cost us the game ... repeated penalties did that.

true, but you expect your star player 10M goalie to do much better than that.
don't they say the best player on your PK is supposed to be your goalie? aie aie aie

he looked bad on that five-hole for sure, but having to handle so many power plays doesn't help either, I don't think he's necessarily to blame for the loss

I get the "10M" argument, but that's a bad contract for any goalie imo

True but the guy is human, if he has a few games like this then I'll start to get concerned. The guy is smart enough to know he can do better ... he's gonna bounce back next game.

On the positive side, that Suzuki kid is something else ... anyone missing Max Poutyretti?

lots of positive tonight. Habs were opportunistic, the kk line finally scored, kids (Suzuki and Romanov) continue to do well, still haven't lost in regulation...
really, if they would stay out of the box they could easily be 4-0

Agreed ...

We also have the most goal scored in the league so far ... so we finally have an offense that can do damage.

We need to tighten up our D and stay out of the box.

I'm not even sure the "home" and "away" games are a factor this season but yeah, 6 points in 8 games is nothing to complain about.

no I don't think so, but I did hear that MacKinnon interview talking about Danault... MB needs to find a way to keep him, he's way more useful to this team than many are claiming.

Pretty nice when one of the top players in the league says he’s glad he won’t be playing agaisnt you this year. I’m sure after those two games McDavid has similar feelings

There’s still travel, staying at hotels, time zones. I know the crowd is no longer a factor but I think there’s still an advantage to playing at home
