I mean, the Pens have scored four goals while not showing up. Imagine if they tried.

It looked a lot worse at full speed. In slow motion I agree with the just interference but (frank) Oshie. He was hitting to hit the puck be damned because he was mad he got laid out. That was not a hockey play.

MP is used to getting hit 200 times a year. He’ll be ok. Where’s the Cookie Monster when you need an elbow?

Petts... Oshie rocked him behind the play. It's possible just wind got knocked out...best case scenario... Could be much worse though obviously haha

His head snapped hard, could be a concussion. He will definitely be in protocol.

I agree with the prevailing sentiment. The officials made the right call.

Whether Pettersson is fine is neither here nor there. That was a scummy play by Oshie. Within the wickets of not being a major penalty, but his intent was pretty clear to me.

CDS has been good with the puck. Passing down ice for possession on the pp and obvi that pass for the shorty. Nice!

Pens back in this. I bet Sullivan told them to "get to their game"!

By "their game" he means the Caps.

Absolutely. I know his numbers aren’t great this game but he must be playing with some swagger to attempt that. And if he wasn’t feeling it before hopefully he’s in god mode after that play.

Of course it was. Same with Wilson's hit. They injure our players, we "just play." Over the course of a series, we will lose because of this. Sully is clueless.

Every team in the league knows this about the Pens now. Montreal successfully beat the crap out of us around the net and it worked - we had no answer. Watching us try to check is like boys vs men. Most of our checks are perfunctory love taps. I'm very much looking forward to the post-Sully era.

Bobby Ryan with four goals now. Yzerman hoping to get a 1st for him at this pace.

True but Montreal has a pretty damn good, and physical, top 4. I’m quite impressed by their defence.

Currently Sceviour is outscoring our top 2 lines at ES 2-1. And that one belongs to ERod.

They do, but Sully neuters any notion of physical play. And yeah, JR needs to go, too, for assembling such a soft team. Hard to play against? Hardly.
