Except it wasnt just pooping on them. It went way past it and one poster even suggested our roster was garbage. It was a bad game no one denied it but that is all it was. One bad game.

I didn’t think we were all that great tonight either. Despite the shout out, I thought our best game was Game 2. Our worst by far was last night.

Still haven’t played very well, but it starts with effort....night and day from last night. Last night can’t be acceptable to anyone. Your not going to win every night but when you lose you can’t lose that way. Looks like depth is going to be tested.

It frustrates me so much that teams have guys like Reinhardt, Miller, McCabe and Ristolainen on one roster and we don’t have anything remotely like that right now. I think Clutterbuck and Martin are really good, gritty and tough players who wear other teams down. Boston has those guys like Chris Wagner and Nick Ritchie. Like, we were that team. What happened??

Myers took a hit to his side maybe shoulder in 1st. Frost took a hit by boards and was hampering his shoulder or wrist. Both getting MRIs tomorrow.

Expecting ? Idk about that I was expecting him to be our 7th d man this year. Hoping? He can be a steady defensive presence who doesn't make mistakes. He skates well and has a descent outlet pass. If he can do that and not be the reason for turnovers / mistakes id say he improves the lineup atm.

Yeah, he held is own, from what I saw. Made a few really nice plays eliminating sticks in the crease and doing good work retrieving pucks.

Gus calmed down a lot, too. Not perfect, but much better.

The whole D corps deserves credit for stepping up in Myers' absence. Provy and Sanheim were terrific. Nice to see Hagg display more of his skill , too.

I couldn’t agree more...this years games physicality is going to be ramped up because they play each other so often...the good news is I think Fletch knows this as well. On a side note, Ristolainen has been in the rumour mill for a while now....I would love him on our back end. Are the Flyers tough enough ? If they stand up like they did tonight...maybe, but I wouldn’t mind a bit more physicality in the lineup.

Hartsy is wooden AF. He needs to cut loose and be himself. Taryn's trying her best to coax some banter out of him, but he's just on autopilot, regurgitating canned hockey cliches.

They need to light Taryn differently. She looks gaunt, washed out and pasty in the studio.

Nice win... Love that AV called them out for last night and they respond with a shutout despite losing two people in game. This team will get it together. Still only 4 games in.
