It really was eye opening to the whole demise he was having. Everybody blamed the hand injuries (he seemed to have one every freaking year), but it was just the toll on his body. Kind of crazy how many 30 goal years he might have had and really living up to the guy taken after Crosby if he didn't go down that path.

My next door neighbour was away at Christmas (relax, she was 100% compliant with protocols), so she asked us to pick up packages, mail, shovel the driveway, etc.

So the 1st recycling day after Christmas, I got to use her 100% empty blue bin.

I swear to goodness, it's my happiest holiday memory of 2020.

Babs doesnt have the bravado to be the next cherry or burke. Maybe as a coach he was "in your face", but in front of a camera, he doesnt seem to have that. Yet.

I remember Babs working for TSN years ago. I think it was before his Anaheim days. He was very good. He knows the x's and o's very well and he doesn't mince words. Clear and direct. I think he'll do a great job for NBC. He's definitely better than Milbury.
