Honestly, whatever works. I personally dont care, i just want them to win.
I dont see him on there all season, but ive been wrong before.
Love jumbo, his success will only help the team

They were the best line last night which is too bad because the brain trust in here decided after the Friday game that he sucks.

I'm not really sure who they'd replace him with anyway. Hyman isn't really an upgrade or much of one and Keefe really wants that third line. Robertson was a possibility but that's gone.

I personally like the idea of 14 minutes or so a night, mixing in other guys. It's been three (frank)ing games

Uh oh. Mahomes is injured. Gone for rest of the game. Chiefs might be screwed.

Thornton absolutely shouldnt be on the first line.

He scored a goal, he's bound to get a few, and some really good looks with MM/AM. But Hyman would be a far better option then Jumbo. But i think that 3rd line of Miky-Kerf-Hyman is deadly.

Thornton can be a solid contributor, but on the bottom 6. Kind of an odd idea putting him on the 1st line.

Keefe wants a checking line. If Thornton can play most of his shifts well enough on the top line, it allows Hyman to play mostly with Mikheyev and Kerfoot. So far, that third line looks good. Fast, defensively responsible, not overly physical but aggressive and in your face.

Matthews
Tavares
Marner
Willie
Hyman
Thornton

Are Toronto's best fw's.

Not sure who you would want out there instead of Thornton - next season maybe Mikheyev but that's it.

If Thornton fizzles out with the top line I think this is worth experimenting with:

Hyman-AM34-MM = Hyman provides grit
Thornton-JT-BillNy = Thornton provides finesse for shooting C and Willie offers a balance of scoring/possession
Vesey-Kerfoot-Soup-Yeah... I dunno, energy(ish) line?

Not sure about the 4th line now that Robertson and Spezza are out. Simmonds and... someone?

Would also like to see Lehtonen relegate Dermott to the press box or the bench.

Your statements of fact - Joe looked good with the other two and Hyman's line was deadly - contradict your conclusion that you should break up the deadly line and the line that looks good.

The Thorton AM, MM has played together 3 games and by the third game they were the best on the nice. The "Joe doesn't belong there idea" was a conclusion people reached long ago and, in typical Leaf fashion, are clinging to in spite of the evidence.

If we get to a point where it's not working, I'll go along. It's crazy to say that now, Mr. Crazy Pants

He looks like more of a top 6 NHLer than Thornton does so far, and that's not a compliment to Vesey. 🤷‍♂️

I don't care that Thornton scored a goal and that line was great, I'm pretty sure you or I would score the odd one playing with Matthews and Marner.

Thornton through 3 games honestly looks more cooked than Marleau did in the end here.

First of all, i said Thornton is bound get a few, i didnt say he looked good.

Secondly, its not contradictory to say I like the third line and id rather Hyman play on the top line. Having a deadly #1 line is more important than having a solid third line.

Matthews has been in beast mode, a guy in a wheel chair would have some good analytics playing with him.

Brandi Carlile has a version out too. That girl can sing. Saw her back when she was opening for Ray Lamontagne.

But he's alive though, or no?

Has Max given us the prognosis. Is his family going to survive this?
