Way off topic, but:

Cool idea, and I'm sure it is going to come in handy when picking up my kids from various places.

Nashville and Vegas are at the top of my list
- Aetherial

Everyone I've ever talked to says that Nashville is head and shoulders above any other "total experience" (pre-game, game, post-game).

Columbus was a bit of a pleasant surprise to me - great restaurant area close to the arena, and the Columbus fans were perhaps the nicest ones I've ever experienced.

Yeah, it's not like I looked like a tough guy looking for a fight (accompanied by my wife and two young daughters), but people were striking up conversations with us in the restaurant and at the arena - just incredibly friendly.

Tampa was also pretty sweet - went for drinks in Ybor City (kinda sorta like the distillery district), took an antique trolley car to the game. Had drinks in the intermission at the arena's outdoor patio.

Florida was in the middle of nowhere, unless you like a giant mall across the street.

New Jersey was a war zone.

Nashville's rink is right on the main drag. Awesome location for a game. But what would I know..

No idea.

A few years ago, Mrs. Wedgie had a project that required her to go to Dallas a few times. I was terrified that she would go to a game - would be difficult for me to catch up to her if she crossed that one off the list.

Didn’t his agent say that if he were claimed, that he’d simply just retire?

I was hoping my home address would be "Strong Macho Stud" or "Total Chick Magnet" - but sadly, it's just three random words strung together.

Correct

I wonder if that had something to do with it. Although a team could claim him just to screw with the Leafs.

Yes. Holiday Inn Express just up over the hill. It is expensive, but perfect spot.

I've seen games in 17 NHL cities (including Toronto).

The problem is, most of the easy ones are gone.

Only Washington and Carolina left in the East. Washington is easy (cheap weekend hotel rates there).

The Western Conference gets trickier.

I've done Vancouver, San Jose and Chicago.

Vegas should be easy. Same with Calgary (my wife sometimes travels there for work).

I've always wanted to go to Denver. Seattle is a cool place, and we have a friend who now lives there.

Nashville is definitely on the bucket list.

After that? Slim pickings.

Maybe Dallas. Maybe Arizona. Anaheim and LA also in the realm of possibility.

After that?

But have you seen Mettalurg in Magnitogorsk?

RadioParadise is fantastic, great collection of eclectic music.

Love the phone app, you can download 2Hr chunks and cache them to play in your car.

In other fantastic news:

New Radicals will be getting band back together - ONE SHOW ONLY!!! - to perform "You Get What You Give" at the Biden inauguration.

I would have preferred Nena Cherry doing "Buffalo Stance" - but this is still damn good.
