Minor complaint for the NHL:
It's MLK Day.
It's also the anniversary of Willie O'Ree playing his first game for the Bruins.
They have announced they will retire his number.
Why is today's Bruins game a home game for the Islanders? - Atomic Wedgie
I’m guessing that not much consideration was put into things like this when coming up with this season’s schedule |

literally none if you want to debeard them properly
i've had varying success with using rubber gloves and/or paper towel to debeard and using exfoliating gloves for scrubbing exteriors always works well - TheMussel
ok lol.
i've been using something like this (photo below), they come out very clean and actually shining, but lots of work still if you want to clean them properly..

Thanks
Between this and Peter’s tweet he shared, I put him in. I think he wound up leaving practice early though. I wonder what’s going on 🤔 |

To be fair, perhaps they also thought that Willie O'Ree deserved 100% of the spotlight for a ceremony.
It used to drive me absolutely batpoop that the NHL would schedule honouring the new HHOF inductees on the same night as Remembrance Ceremonies at Leafs games.
Absolutely brutal. |

Tom Brady has everything in the world but I still kind of hope he wins the Superbowl with the Bucs this year as just a Giant (frank) you to the pats and football in general |

Oh agree 100%
There’s enough games to go around... it can’t be that hard to make that accommodation |

To figure out plus-minus without the empty nets etc. - Garnie
oh..just use 5v5...that was kind of the point.
plus minus can be used, but there is better things..that are not even "advanced stats"..just slightly tweaked stats
but if you say dont use plus minus, use these stats instead..you get ...... "stats are for people who have no clue how hockey is played, so they make up these silly stats to try to sound smart"

They should’ve retired it today, without a doubt.

I don’t think it’s as much as a (frank) you to the Pats as it would be to Belichick. We’re all rooting for him. |

February 18th. Like Wedge said though, maybe they wanted the spotlight to be just on him for the day. |

Do you think Laine could get laid if Nylander was his wingman? - Atomic Wedgie
No,
It would mean Nylander would get twice as much and would have to double up.
