I think if Robertson goes on LTIR the player they sub in has to be cheaper than him or they will keep losing accumulated cap space. Unless they waive 2 guys then they will have another free space.

Injuries are tricky from what I understand...And this is why Spezza and Dell are on waivers.

Basically the Robertson long term injury only allows them to add a 650K guy to the roster...and unfortunately there are none of those in the NHL.

Grilling Elk Steaks tonight with rosemary and garlic. Just decanted a 2005 Brane Cantenac in anticipation.

Well, 3 goalies (Forsberg, Grosenick and Comrie have been claimed in last 5 days so maybe they thought it was safe.

I’ve never had elk before, but I’m sure it’ll be great. I have a really nice bone in filet I’m firing up and am looking forward to. I’m also doing rosemary and garlic with a little butter baste.

Do you hunt the elk?

No not a hunter, will fish but don't own a gun or a crossbow. Elk is not as lean as bison but much leaner than beef or even chicken so you have to be careful not to overcook. There is a local small producer that I buy from - quality stuff.
