1000%. Kakko needs a chance there wayyyyyy more than Lemieux. I get the net front presence is needed but over a guy that is supposed to score?

Also 1000%.
According to Rotoworld (not sure how up to date...) Lemiuex is 6'-1", 213lbs. Kakko: 6'-3", 200lbs.
I know who I would choose to put on the man advantage.

I will say though... that mish-mosh 2nd pp unit was actually quite good keeping the puck in the zone and generating a couple chances.

Theyve got so much talent they should have the main PP unit and a 2nd/3rd PP unit to rotate depending on game feel.

On the PP units, Quinn said at some point, "Fil Chytil will be back on the power play, as will Kakko."

Main thing with Chytil is he wants to see face-off improvement.

Also said Buch getting time on PP1 instead of Strome is "on the table," but noted last season's success.

yep

We simply cant be dealing with this bs on our special teams.

True, it would have to be in the form of prospects, Columbus doesn’t have a ton of cap room.

Heres what I expect.

1. There has to be a contract going back to CBJ to offset the money. Thats Strome (more than likely), DeAngelo (unlikely because theyre pretty good on D). The odd combination of Buch and Chytil.

2. Unfortunately, you gotta give up something you dont want. More than likely its Kakko. Other notables that wont hurt fans as much are Chytil. Kravtsov, Miller.

Then we got prospects in Lundkvist, Jones, Garand. I doubt theyre trading Schneider.

Picks... bunch of picks. Tbh, I wouldnt bother protecting them as a kicker.

Do you really think we are the only team dealing with this? This isn't "bs", it's a component of the game, same as having a good shot or stride. I am confident that it is a skill what can be improved. As was pointed over the weekend, at least we have decent retrieval stats!
I saw a segment on TSN over the weekend that McDavid spent much of the summer training on faceoff because he sees it as a weakness. Everyone has them.

Except we suck up and down the lineup and doesnt seem like anyone spent any time working on their faceoffs. Were easily one of the worst faceoff teams in the league.

Well, you ain't wrong there.
I just hold out hope that it's not something we need to trade away top prospects to address.
