I’ve seen Jankowski play quite a few times in Calgary. He hasn’t stood out like this in a while. - Thorny87
He didnt have a stud like Tanev to play with |

The Pens have easily been the better team. Other than goal of course.
Geno needs to get it going. |

Yea it seems Zucker has been the best on the second line so far |

i dont know how they are struggling to even get so much as shots off on several pristine 2 on 1s.
Jank is looking extremely impressive. Rodrigues not so much. |

Sceviour would be better there than Rod. |

Pens honestly looking very good after a bad start. Jake is ghostly though. I'd still like to see them get to the net a little more and I think they have this game. |

I saw a little more from Jake in that period. He was skating better. I'm definitely concerned they won't do enough in front of the net this season.

I don't know what the answer is but with Lafferty not getting much ice maybe we will see some changes in the lines. Nope I see ERod starting the period.[/img] |

Zucker and Sid looked good together. Jake-geno-rust was dominant. With everyone healthy, we haven't tried it once going back to last season. Why? |

i tend to like guentzel with crosby if possible, but if that would get geno going its worth a start. with no courturier he needs to be imposing and it just isnt there right now |

there it was again. just simple, straight line effort to the net. |

Me too... But geno is doing nothing. And if sid + zucker can produce 90% of what sid + jake does, then it's worth it. Geno's line is creating nothing. |

Glad we only have one more game of watching Erod. Shame Sullivan hasn't tried someone else there. He's knowingly handicapping his top line. It's not possible for another player to be worse. |

What's the Pens record when Wes McCauley refs, anyways?... Its soemthing crazy bad I'm pretty sure... I think that's the ref I'm thinking of. |

it is, but this has been very liberally called for both sides.
i love rust. i would take one of him for every line at even strength. but he does worry me long term as your righty for PP |

Flyers have had some very nice puck luck these two games in what I've seen. I didn't see any of their first 3 in this game.. |
