It's one game and the way Brodie and Andersen have been handling the puck in the first two games (live grenade) its no surprise. Apart from the obvious softies that Andersen has been letting in, I'm not sure would be giving Keefe a free pass. Two games two stupid too many men on the ice penalties. Letting Chabot crosscheck Matthews in front of the Leaf bench without an answer was bad.

Well sorry to bring up a sore spot but Brodie was a compliment to Gio. Ask any Flames fan. He isn’t as bad as he has looked but he’s not top pairing either. I got basted suggesting Tanev was a better fit. It was somewhat warranted but it wasn’t a bad idea. Muzzin Brodie should be paired. Reilly can play with nearly anyone who fits the role needed.

No matter the outcome tomorrow night this place is going to be fun.

When Campbell puts up a snowman maybe the fans will realize it wasnt all Freddys fault.

It was all in place, there was a plan. There was going to be some pain.

But they deviated from that plan, players got paid too much and became entitled. They turned on their coach, the GM bailed them out, and now we're here. Sure Babs made some mistakes, but the players and got a pass for quitting on the coach (and the fans) and thats a bad sign. Lots of coaches are Richards, but they win.

If i feel bad for anyone its Keefe. Clearly the players are stubborn and are almost impossible to get through to, and the GM isnt doing him any favours bringing Thornton in for his swan song. Brodie wasnt ever going to solve a damn thing, Bogo is press box material, and Vesey/Simmonds are meh at best.

They strayed from the plan, tried to take shortcuts, and now they're like a rudderless ship w/o a captian.

It all started Dubas strayed from the plan signing JT & then it mushroomed. The domino effect got the Leafs to where they are for good or bad. Again not blaming JT it didn’t make sense to me then nor now. Now Dubas is stuck. Only recourse is moving out a big piece that was a part of an excellent tebuild.

Freddie is far from the real problem. Sure fans want more but 18 skaters are not saying it’s him the way they perform. In good times it’s wow when not it’s like wtf.

It's a team sport. You have other duties than just trying to score. Thats the main issue here. Theres no pushback, theres no fight in the dog. They all just dream about raising their hands when they score and float around until they get the puck.

No pre season. No real training or practice. It will take some time with all the changes.
