Yes, Marner is overpaid, but Barkov signed a 6x6 back in January of 2016. It's not really a fair comparison since Marner signed in Septmber 2019.

This team reminds me a lot of when Paccioretty and Subban were on Montreal and all you heard about was how dysfunctional the room was. I am really wondering about the Leafs also.

I laughed at Bergevin when he said that the culture needed to change, but there was a lot of truth in that. Teams that have a fraction of the talent the Leafs have outplay them regularly.

He had similar numbers and same playoffs struggle with a very good D and contender infront of him in Anaheim. He is what he is, but maybe is now suffering from regression in his 30';s.
