I have a view out to the backyard from the office, and saw a flock of cardinals hanging out. Must have been a dozen total males and females. Pretty cool, never really seen that around these parts.

Health matters to me for everyone also. Where I don’t agree is players know the risk they take to be the elite few that can make millions in a short time where normal ppl have an entire life to work for whatever they get.

They get paid for being great at what they do, they dont get paid to put themselves in a dangerous situation that can easily be avoided.

Health and safety guidelines are put in for a reason, regardless of how much money you make.

The same rules apply for every job. Players are paid to play a contact sport where they can get injured from a good clean hit, not a cheap shot.

Btw I work industrial at chem plants, refineries & gas plants. It’s more dangerous than hockey any day & everyday. Just some poor sob paying taxes so I can watch hockey & live in my sorry existence so they can be on a pedestal for me to pass the torch to the next gen. It’s so important to pass on these values. Joking of course lol

Dont look to the refs every time theres an infraction. You'll probably get more respect form the refs that way, and get more calls.

Burrows was a classic example who didn’t get calls by his own undoing. His on ice antics & diving for a couple reasons.

I’m going to cook dinner but I’m not talking about respect or just Auston Matthews. The game will be better if star players don’t leave early because of herniated discs or lose big chunks of the season because non skill players are allowed to hack the poop out of them.

Personally, I’d rather see skilled defencemen box guys out. Shocking concepts.

Agree but it’s also a 2-way street. I blame refs mostly & the NHLPA. The PA just doesn’t speak out & take care of their own.

Been there 5x amongst many places. Yes really good coin but comes at price being on the road but won’t hear me complain. I chose it.
