I don't know about that Delia has not played in the NHL in almost two years and he made a lot of big saves tonight .
Like what I saw out almost everyone tonight it not like they were playing the Cup Champs or anything . They made TB work tonight good game .

- oldduffman

Delia makes big saves because he is never in proper position to make the saves look easy. He is Mike Palmateer reincarnated, and we all know how that went.

We played the Stanley Cup Champs and it went as expected.

We still don't know what we have yet and based on what I said earlier...no training camp, young team, roster turnover, etc....I'm not going to female dog about the play this year. My expectations are low and this season is a success if there is an improvement throughout the season. Despite what some think we have players who have a high upside and bright future...more is coming.

They are not going to shuttle young players back and forth between RFD...you want to talk about breaking a young player.... it's time to coach and develop.

So sit back...take it easy...have patience...and enjoy the season for what it is.

Ya nothing to be ashamed of tonight they battled back and were pushing for tying goal and hung their young net minder out to dry Delia made some big saves to keep them in it .Zadorov big hit on Coleman was great was just thinking Coleman seemed to run our goalie and Zadorov should be looking to take a run at him and bang he did ..

I thought he had good position most times.

He was in position on the three goals in the slot - each went glove-high, IIRC.

As a defenseman, when your goalie swims around like a fish called Wanda, you try and do too much because you have zero confidence that if you make the proper play, that your goaltender is going to be in proper position, let alone where he is going to spit out the rebound.

If Delia ever makes it in the nhl, it will be as a backup playing 20 games max.

Don’t lay off the poor defensive play on Delia - wide open all-day shots from Gourde and Stamkos with Delia in position, Suter not closing aggressively and leaving too much space on the 3rd TB goal, Delia in position....

I don’t think Delia is a quality goalie by any means but the defense is terrible, individually and collectively.

Q’s apparently not coming back - from the Tribune:

Former Chicago Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville and his wife, Elizabeth, sold their five-bedroom, New England-style mansion in Hinsdale on Friday for $4.27 million.

Apparently, the place had a $78,000 property tax bill in 2019.

Quick is still the same (minus the 4 pulled groins). Kings in their glory had the best team defense in the league, and gave up the least amount of shots in the league. The Kings would love to dump his contract, but no team wants it.

Strome, AdB, Kane the goal scorers so far.

Is that going to be what it is? Who else can score on this team?

Can Kubalik put up 25-30 without Toews and Saad, now that the league knows him? Can Suter be another European surprise and get 20?

I fear lots of under 3s this season.

Yes, but only two games against a very good defensive team. Maybe...but I’m not optimistic about him.

Delia moves to his right, shot goes back to his left.

Subban might be something. Delia is not.

Surprised they didn't play hard ball with Kubalik like they did with Strome. 25-30 points or goals? It's going to be tough if it's goals
