Tony D practiced with the taxi squad guys this morning and is likely scratched in favor of Smith tomorrow

When did slamming the door become an extra 2? TPC said its been like that for awhile, but I swear maybe I just don't pay attention but I seem to recall players doing that all the time without an extra 2.

Well that sucks because JJ is still in and he makes Staal look like Bobby Orr.

It's probably a discretionary penalty. I'm not sure it was the door slamming that did it. He was probably verbally abusing the official. I was lip reading a lot of expletives as he skated over.

Carp: Tony DeAngelo, who took an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty (and played poorly) Thursday skated with the taxi squad Friday. Anthony Bitetto was on the ice with the varsity. #NYR

Vince Mercogliano: Looks like D pairs to start new practice are Lindgren-Trouba, Johnson-Fox and Miller-Smith

And it was the right call, because he released on hand off his stick and grabbed Barzal, instead of moving his feet.

Without crowds, refs can hear EVERYTHING and I think Tony said something stupid that got him the extra 2 mins.

You don’t think that we should care? I beg to differ, if there is an issue in the locker room and ADA’s politics is affecting a player, then there is going to be an issue on the ice and how they play. Miller is at a disadvantage for being a black hockey player who has already been harassed. MSG brass needs to be more fourth coming with the support they have not just for him but all black players, which sadly they aren’t the best for these PR situations.

When it comes down to it, I’d much rather have Miller on defense for the next decade than ADA. His potential is far beyond the limitations of ADA “defensive abilities”

I wanted Strome gone...that didn't help giving him 2 more years
- TPC

Whenever Kakko and Strome or Kakko and somebody decent with a small cap hit gets offered for Dubois, I do believe it will happen. Panarin has to make some calls to PLD to get this rolling.

The alternating happened when Miller started it. Prior to him no one did.
