Hutton does suck. It just happened to be the Sabres team in front of him played out of their butts good.

I don’t even think Hutton faced a high danger shot tonight

Cuff reinhart to eichel and throw away the key already, it is just pointless to pretend they dont belong on the ice together at this point. Hall on the other side of that is just wow

They looked pretty good up and down along with a handful of dominant shifts, lets see it again tomorrow against what should undoubtedly be a hungry flyers team

Tastes success for the first time in 27 years and I feel like I’m in a Pats thread.

No wonder why Buffaluck exists

That’s good
Butwith him bringing up the playoffs & winning here, it kinda seems obvious we need to do well to keep him

Wait. Wait. Wait. You are saying Hall-Jack-Samson worked... and looked good. Well that just mean Ralph HAS to change it tonight.

So what are the goal tending options if Ullmark opts out for family reasons?

Do you run with...
Hutton
Johansson

Does it force KruDams to make a move and aside from the AZ tendies, who might be available?

Was last night one of the best Sabres team performances we've seen in years?

It makes tonight's game very interesting considering the Sabres have played 2 strong games in a row now.

First off, I was happy as hell to watch a Sabres game and enjoy it...make no mistake about that.

But a line with a #1 over all and 2 #2 overalls damn well better dominate. Otherwise...yyyyeeeeesssshhhhh

Interesting tidbit from the athletic: the last 4 remaining QBs left (mahomes, Brady, Rodgers and Allen) all rank in the top 5 in PFF, top 7 in QBR and top 4 on DVOA. Apparently this QB position does have something to do with deep postseason runs? Who would have guessed that. Last weekends RBs for winning teams included Singletary, an afterthought, fournette, who nobody wanted, some guy name Williams for KC and a mix of backs for GB.

Yeah cause nobody's defense played good.

This does not sound good at all :

"Horrible news" for Ullmark, per Hutton. Yikes.

- kritter65

Funny here, I have heard Paul Hamilton has blocked a ton of people on Twitter.
I don't use Twitter at all..only to view links like this...read the tweet, then close it down, maybe I read 10 tweets a week, if that. I don't remember ever having responded to a tweet, apparently I did, lol.

I tried to connect to this tweet, and boom, found out he blocked me.

I don’t hate this idea ... but we have moss on a rookie deal.

Unless you mean for this year?

Yeah, obviously for this year
And if he looks good, I’d rather have him than Yeldon going forward

And Moss is “ok”
But also hasn’t impressed me much

He needs Rochester ..... remember when people though R2D2 played well in Finland and he wasn’t nhl ready.

If Ullmark ops out. We 100% need a goalie

And what sucks is that dell was on waivers yesterday. We couldn’t scooped him up for free.

He looked great in the ECHL last year,
but was shaky with Rochester

I don’t see any sense in rushing him unless we are desperate

Eh. Ingram I think got old quick. 31 year old rb with 299 yards on the year. They bright in Freeman last week to fill the moss injury and have that other kid from the practice squad.

You are correct. Singletary and Moss may not be home run hitters but they are young and have been ok. Maybe draft another one? But Ingram isn’t the answer.

Agree there KruDams will be forced to make a trade. Maybe a d man will finally be moved.

Of course with KruDams they’d trade McCabe and move monte to the left side.

But other than the Az goal tenders, who might be available?

I thought maybe bishop but he had surgery and is out till March.

Flury is another but man that would be a cap nightmare to pull off...

And the Az goalies might cost too much to get, even though it might have to be the best option....

The Devils claimed him and they were ahead of the Sabres in the waiver order. Bad luck and timing.

Who said he’s “the answer”?
No risk in bringing him in for the rest of the season, and then see how he looks

For next year,
I wanna see Singletary as the “starter”
And Ingram (ONLY if he looks good) can compete with Moss for a short yardage role
Or even just replace Yeldon as the #3
I doubt he’d cost much

With all the Covid protocols and whatnot, I'm not sure he would even be allowed to be active this week. They put Devonta Freeman on the practice squad because of it, and Kenny Stills is still there. I'm not sure what point it makes at this point. They have a maximum of two games left.
