I would love to see a Bills vs. Browns AFC Championship game.

I also would love to see Tampa Bay beat New Orleans.

Regardless, I think it's safe to say we see a Green Bay vs. Kansas City Super Bowl. Rematch of Super Bowl 1. Can't hate on that.

Why? F#ck Brady!

Scariest thing is Eichel does not seem to be playing with any passion. This COVID
division BS could end badly for us. This division is way too tough for us to
Make the playoffs. Eichel will want a trade,
Hall won’t stick around, Staal will retire.
Our core will be Skinner, Skunk, Dahlin, Cozens, Oloffson and who ever we get for Eichel

That gives us just Cozens at Center moving forward though

Meh. Figure it out. If you make a trade like that, you've bought another few years to develop or trade for a C.

I absolutely do not want Eichel traded, but if he demands it, then so be it.

Nah. If he wants out he will get his wish

The league would never let one of its stars sit and rot. The league and players Union would definitely “push” the Sabres to accommodate his request if it got that far

The best the Sabres could do would be to try and call his bluff and see if he’s actually willing to sit and not play unless he’s traded. If he’s willing to sit as opposed to play for Buffalo, they’ll trade him IMO

so he would give up on the sabres after 5 seasons and at the old age of 24...nice.

If he demands it,
I’m still waiting to get the deal i like if I’m Adams
No hurry to move him

Before this season,
my idea of a good return would’ve been getting Brady Tkachuk, picks 3 & 5 overall, & Ottawa’s late 1st they had as well

On the bright side.

If tonight is any indication of how we can play systematically then we can push for the 4th spot.

They did outplay the Caps and didn’t really give up much of any quality defensively for the most part.

The caps really had maybe 6-7 scoring chances the whole night.

Put the best players together, fix the damn special teams, and we really need our goalies to make a save on a high danger scoring opportunity.

- Pegullaville

Agree but the nagging question playing this style is always going to be can they generate enough even strength offense to offset their goaltending issues?

It's a giant issue.

What does Eichel owe the Sabres, perhaps the worst run NHL franchise for going on a decade, that he should rot on this franchise for years on end?

I get the even strength debate, but their PP let them down tonight. 4 shots in the first 3 power plays doesn't get it done, ever.

And this "hot potato" they play in their own end has got to stop. There seems to be just utter confusion on what to do with the puck in their own end. It's maddening. Philly will make them pay dearly.

he signed a contract, he committed. he signed on for 8 years. halfway in he wants out? then why sign a long term deal... if im the sabres and he asks out i play hardball.
hes 24, not 34, he has his whole career ahead of him.

I think the organization showed him this off season that they're trying. I think that buys us at least through next season.

Agreed on their power play letting them down, but how many more times are they going to enjoy a 4 power play attempt to zero advantage in a game?

Not often. They absolutely need to produce more offense at even strength.

The confidence that comes with solid goaltending would go a long way to fix this team.

Also some quality saves would be amazing once in a while.

Hutton and Ullmark are not the answer.

Confidence and freedom to attack more offensively due to knowing they have someone in net to bail them out when needed. It would make a large difference.

They only out shot them by 3 and only out chanced them by 4 at even strength. I don't think that's enough, despite how well they played tonight.

Wasn’t it under Bylsma (16-17) the Sabres had the #1 pp in the league? Your Assistant Coaches..................Terry Murray, Bob Woods, Tom Ward...

Who coached the power play, go find him. Trade Tage for the coach.

If they play the right combos together and Dahlin and Eichel figure it out I think they can.

I don’t think the Sabres played a bad game tonight vs the hot garbage from the 1st game.

PP definitely needs some work. But we aren’t far off.

When was the last time the Sabres played the caps twice and ovie didn’t score

It’s coming along.

Imagine okposo is the missing link (sarcasm)

With a short season in this division they absolutely can not afford to be losing three in a row. If they are not .500 after 15 games its over unless they start finding themselves in OT alot

Got to see good chunks of the game tonight and they did look alot better despite going full sabres and only scoring one goal on some random nobody rookie goalie

Time to stack the lines up
