He has the money to be sure. I think he's hyperfocused on real estate though. Buffalo probably needs him saving downtown more.

He's doing great work all over downtown. Today a story came out about him potentially buying the recently defunct Hotel Henry at the Richardson Olmsted complex.

Hey, Doug, you own Seneca One tower and the Sabres are 300 yards away via light rail. Sounds like a great fit👍

There’s still a TON of work to do in there to renovate it
Only the main level was done
It’s gonna take years to complete

My sister's wedding was there a few years back when Croce owned it. Wasn't impressed. This guy seems to think bigger though and he's already put his money where his mouth is with the Seneca One

There was the rumor of the Canadian super market guy interested in buying the team last year... not sure if that’s still on the table.

I agree, that is a close call.
I like what Milano brings, being multi-purpose in coverage and against the run...I didn't understand why they didn't use him to thwart the Kelce carnage.

I'm torn Boss...could they do both by jettisoning others on the DL and Backfield that haven't delivered enough?

If it came down to one or the other, I believe that DL is a priority and can mitigate other weaknesses...so I'd go Watt and kick myself for not being able to retain Milano. In that case, they need that Big Nickle to replace a bit of what Milano offers.

- IonSabres

Its really a tough call ion.

Both guy's get injured, so the age difference isn't quite the same in terms of being ready to play each week.
Gotta give the experience factor to Jj although no SB's

I love matt italiano, I think it might be our sceme though making him look good? Basically without Star, the linebackers are very noticeable and active. He really is OK at covering the tight ends. Not great and the league is trending that way. Kelse is a beast, but to get to the superbowl someone needs to contain him.

Gotta kinda factor in tremaine and his contract next year too.

I sign JJ at 2 for 22. If that's the choice 🤝

I get it...the generalizations are usually off one way or the other.
Hence why I prefer to discuss Olo on the Pp separately from 5v5, as I see them completly different so far. I also like him playing with Staal, he seems to connect more IMO...but the results thus far at 5v5 are that of a 3rd liner.
If I read you correctly, you see him growing there and being a Top 6 in the future.

Do you really see him driving play in Top 6, or being a benefactor of playing there? I believe we have seen the latter, not the former.

- IonSabres

Again I enjoy your thoughts and agree with you.

I'm not sure if he "can drive a line"
Really like olofsson's skating and even his forecheck last game.

Anyone complaining about the 3 million $ leading scorer is the least of my worries this season.
I'm just being trolled to some degree. I absolutely deserve it 😉

Keep a close eye on both the skating and forecheck.
His line looks in motion at all times.

Upgrade WR? How so?
I think we’re in pretty good shape there

- jdfitz77

They need to cut Brown for Cap space.
That is how so.

Maybe the Rich family would have interest. Buffalo roots and they tried hard for an MLB franchise

They still have that other kid they drafted last year who got hurt, he was having a decent camp until he got hurt. Bring back McKenzie. They can replace Milano in the draft, there's a few good LB's that will be available when we pick at 30. DL, OL, TE, CB should be priority.

I don’t know what The sabres need to do but what they have been doing since 2008 hasn’t worked. At this point I don’t care but I can’t stand more of the same.

He is playing himself out of town.

Kings, Bruins, I honestly don't care at this point. This needs to be blown to smithereens.

Well one would assume Davis slots into Brown’s spot

Are u saying you’d want an upgrade over Davis then?

I’ve been in some of those areas that were supposed to be fixed up, but weren’t

It needs to be totally gutted down to the studs
New electric, new plumbing
And who knows what structural plans are being made?

Everything. The coach the gm the owner blow them all up. It’s a joke. Since like 1995 this team has been terrible. Got lucky on the hasek trade and didn’t get talent around him. Then owner goes to jail then Darcy gets lucky as hell on a few trades out of the deadline and then completely flops the contracts.

He was for a rookie and they have Hodgins coming back to. Was having a decent camp until he got hurt.
