I just don't get the inability to score. There is too much skill to not bury chances. Sam has to score on that A+ chance every time, especially when we're losing. I'd like to say we're due for goals, but that ship is likely never coming in for this group.
- lacaprup

Was it too much to ask Olofsson and his amazing shot to do something other than shoot the puck directly into the goaltenders pad along the ice on the glorious chance Eichel set him up for in the 1st period?[/img]

Olofsson - “I don’t think I create enough chances on my own 5 on 5”

If he himself sees it......

And he shouldn’t be the primary scapegoat either. But for some reason the coach plays him 19 minutes every night like he’s a franchise forward

I think there are other guys that should have a target on their backs, too.

The captain looks like he's checked out. Most of the others have followed suit.

The team has enough talent (although they are slowwwww). They need more guys willing to pay the price.

Their decision-making is atrocious, to say the least. They pass when they should shoot. They try to skate through the other team when they should pass.

- Powerslave

It's a soft team with a soft core, nothing really changed in that regard.

Curious on Bosses opinion. He's a big VO guy.

part?
- TheHank

Yeah. Part.

A) slow skating team
B) slow decision making
C) no heart
D) average to bad goaltending
E) players not willing to pay the price
F) zero threat, 5v5
G) captain has quit
H) coaching not NHL caliber (and I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt)
I) I better stop here, because I seriously think I can hit the end of the alphabet...

Happy with his overall play this year? Honest question.
- Lunaion

Hi pal, 🙋‍♂️

Absolutely the least of the Sabres worries.

I kind of attribute his overall game: as being an inexperienced nhl player.

Do you watch the games and leave with the feeling it's his fault?

I do not. He is scoring goals.

Dumb soccer coach listen's to fan's and put's a guy that hasn't scored all season in his line. 1 assist skimmer guy.

Why saddle the captain with a guy that is having a terrible season?

Skinner and Eichel set up your golden boy for a glorious 5v5 chance in the first period only to have Olofsson shoot the puck right into the goaltenders pad with an open net.

Where was the fantastic Olofsson shot then?

I can't imagine NYR do that.

Mitts and Tage are NOTHING at this point. MZ had 41 goals last year.

Not gonna score on every shot, especially after a break.
Got pad and post. Should have had a had trick tonight.

How about sam and the lack of effort at the end of the game? Also, how do you spell caruba...

He gets smoked every game. 0 ice awareness for the cerebral center 😀😀😀
