Always liked Milley. Didn't get the shot he deserved.

Had a long, great career overseas.

That is accurate imo
It’s not crazy to question exactly what we’re gonna get with Watts
And at what cost is it worth it to risk that uncertainty

AGAIN....
I never once said NOT to sign him
I said it was “risky”
We’d essentially be putting all our chips on an aging player who’s unquestionably declined some

- jdfitz77

I’m still waiting on evidence of Watt’s decline to where it’s questionable he’s “good”.

Let me know whenever you find it.

If you want to disguise not being a 20.5 sack NFL MVP as “unquestionably declining” as if he was your average player who lost a step and is now barely playable, that’s just being incredibly disingenuous.

Yeah, said the Police talked to him a few days ago because his family was worried about him, but they said he seemed to be in good health.

The real reason for all of the "Florida man" poop is because of their so-called "sunshine law" which provides a lot more law inforcement information to the press relative to other states. Crazy people live everywhere, it's just easier to report on it there

Is there a chance that people are putting too much emphasis on a single game against Kansas City? I understand the importance of the fact that no one is getting to the Super Bowl without beating Kansas City, but we can't write off everyone on the Bills' defense (sans secondary)as not good enough because we had a bad game against Kansas City.
Also, I'm not sure I've seen mentioned the fact Kansas City lost the better part of their offensive line for the Super Bowl and that had quite a bit to do with how effective the front four of Tampa Bay was. I guess that means we should panic and worry about Kansas City to the nth degree, but I'm not sure how much upgrading the bills can realistically do. They have to draft really well.

- lacaprup

Losing Eric Fisher definitely had a huge effect. The OG that opted out to be a front line worker during the pandemic very well would be back next year as well.

Being able to generate consistent pressure with 4 or 5 up front has always been a big part though of throwing elite QB’s off their game.

My only thought about Watt from an outside perspective is the fact the Bills run a 4-3 front but with a player of Watt’s caliber I’m sure shedding 10 pounds and playing as a defensive end wouldn’t be a deal breaker.

The last time a defensive player of this magnitude hit the open market I believe was DeMarcus Ware and I don’t think that worked out too bad.

That’s not at all what I’ve said

And idc what you’re waiting for?
I’d rather u just stfu & be done with the convo like you’ve said u were multiple times

Watt went from double digit sacks EVERY YEAR he was healthy, to ONLY 5
That concerns me
If it doesn’t concern YOU....
well, i don’t care

You’re the one that keeps trying to seep me on him being great
And i question just how effective the pressure he gets actually is
Just like i do with Hughes

Maybe Watt is still a great player & last season was a fluke?
Maybe it’s a sign his long list of injuries over his career are starting to catch up to him?

With Cap Room a BIG issue for us,
I think it’s RISKY to bet all the room we could have on him
Bc if we do sign him to $10mil + then we don’t have room to improve elsewhere, let alone bring back all our UFAs

Is he better than Addison? Probably

Does that make us good enough to beat the Chiefs?
Not unless he’s a monster
And BESIDES his (drastic)sack decline,
watching him let’s you clearly see he no longer dominates anymore
