Spotrac predicting that Watt's contract will be 2 years, $12 million, per.
- Powerslave

Do it. Lighten his load a bit and I bet he is still a force.

Not all sacks are in garbage time
As usual, a worthless post with no meaning to it
And a horrible analogy

- jdfitz77

It's not a horrible analogy at all.

It's an example of how raw statistics can be incredibly misleading when evaluating.

How many sacks did Tampa have 2 or 3, they PRESSURED the sh!t out of Mahomes.
- Buff36

remember those 2 near sacks that led to taron jonson td's vs the steelers and baltimore?

It does not matter to me one bit how you come to the opinions you have.

I disagreed that Hughes wasn’t good, and disagree Watt sustained a steep decline.

That’s all.

- sbroads24

On top of that, I believe only 10 total players had double digit sacks last year. It's not like those players grow on (frank)ing trees.

Bringing Watt in could help with that immensely, especially if Star is eating double teams in the Middle.
- Buff36

I don’t think Star is that good either

Let me put it this way:
Pierre-Paul > Hughes
Vea > Star
Suh > Oliver
Barrett > Addison
David > Milano
White > Edmunds

That’s why we lost to KC
And why Tampa beat them

I want us to get better
And not just a “little” better, but “significantly” so,
that we may have a good chance to beat KC and actually WIN a Super Bowl- instead of just getting linked by them again

I really don’t see what’s wrong with that?

And we could barely even pressure Mahomes,
could we?

Call it whatever u want
Their front 7 gave him fits, and ours barely made a dent

they dink and dunked

"The average depth of a Patrick Mahomes pass in the AFC Championship Game was 5.8 yards beyond the line of scrimmage. That’s 2.5 yards per target lower than his regular-season total and the lowest total of any of the four quarterbacks on Championship weekend."

" It would have been the second-lowest in the league during the 2020 regular season (Alex Smith was 5.0)."

Tampa still had a really good secondary though

Obviously we couldn’t get PRESSURE on Mahomes,
and Tampa could

Do u disagree that it was the major difference in our games?
Bc that was glaringly obvious to me

I said it a few times before

tampa attacked the chiefs offense

we sat back to try to avoid the big play

I think it's more coaching game plan then their talent and ours

we could have an attacking D, fraiser refuses to call that game plan

It’s kinda incredible that you’re arguing how bad the Bills front 7 is while simultaneously being against adding one of the best all time D linemen.

Idk how you pull this off consistently

Get rid of Frazier too then!
The point is that our front 7 just isn’t effective enough vs KC
And of that doesn’t get fixed, they’re just gonna keep beating us

Watt is no longer his Def POY former self
AND
I’ve NEVER said I’m “against adding him”

It’s like you can’t freaking read dude

WHAT I HAVE SAID
Is that adding a player with his age & injury history & decline is RISKY
Especially when we’d have to make Cap room to do so

Holy sh!t dude
Re-f*cking read please!!!

Maybe?
I really don’t know how good Watt is anymore

If last season was just an “off” year,
then he very well could be a good signing

I’ve NEVER said Watt sucks
Just that he’s declined & no longer a defensive mvp type player
I think that’s a reasonable assessment
