Spotrac predicting that Watt's contract will be 2 years, $12 million, per.
- Powerslave

Too much unless he’s getting double digit sacks
AND lots of additional qb pressures as well
AND helping against the run

they can work it where there is a lower cap number for 2021 and a bigger one for 2022

they can also rework a lot of those short term deals already on the roster and save some money

would anyone other then fitz be unhappy if we signed watts, won the super bowl and he only got 5 sacks in the regular season?

I always wanted to see more shutouts from Ryan Miller.

As it stands, those shutouts wouldn't have made a difference to where the team ended up, because letting a goal in with less than a minute left high glove side in a game you're winning 4-0 is just as meaningless as registering a sack in garbage time when your team is losing 27-10.

They certainly can. If they want.

Trust the process, either way.

Sh!t if he helped turn Oliver and Hughes loose and he was solid against the run, wouldn't care if he got 2 sacks if we won the SB.

It does not matter to me one bit how you come to the opinions you have.

I disagreed that Hughes wasn’t good, and disagree Watt sustained a steep decline.

That’s all.

Yes and it's the same contract Houston got, it's all in the wording and signing bonus, which worked out for Indy and only counted 7mill against there cap in the 1st yr.

That’s just moronic
Thought u had work to do- instead of putting words in my mouth i didn’t say

If we won the Super Bowl,
I’d be happy no matter how many sacks we did or didn’t get

HOWEVER,
I don’t believe we are winning a Super Bowl with crappy sack numbers

Go compare Tampa’s front 7 & ours,
and you’ll see why we lost to KC & they won

Not all sacks are in garbage time
As usual, a worthless post with no meaning to it
And a horrible analogy

I agree

Just think we need to sack Mahomes AND get more pressure on him to actually beat KC

I our defense to be IMPROVED

How many sacks did Tampa have 2 or 3, they PRESSURED the sh!t out of Mahomes.

So then it’s essentially a 1year deal for $7mil,
then we cut him?
That’s better

Bringing Watt in could help with that immensely, especially if Star is eating double teams in the Middle.
