I'm not disagreeing with the cap position.

Just thinking that our defensive sceme go allow milano to walk. I like him, like everyone else.

Aj Klein would be the obvious choice

On offense, you lock down Feliciano at center. Cut morse.
Plug and sign. Josh covers for a bad line with his athleticism.

I spend on a pass rush. Dt, star will be back.
1st and tremaine Edmunds to chicago for k. Mack

Gotta get machomes

MSG airing the Oct 26, 2006 Sabres @ Islanders game. Obviously comparing today's team to that team is going to look lopsided. But the thing that stands out is Sabres players(all of whom we are familiar) appear into the game and aren't being asked to find the momentum, but continue it. We think of that team has having stars, and they did, but this team isn't using Briere, Drury, Campbell ect as a crutch. The shifts in between aren't wasted folly's.

These guys are coming off the bench not gassed and contributing with their style of play. Reminds me of the current Washington sqaud and why were probably going to have a bad time in our return to action here. If Eichel and Reinhart got to hit the ice after the productive lines just did their thing it would be a different story. I know this isn't earth shattering news, but a thought.

I dunno...I would have thought he was older than 29. Can't believe he's still in his 20's, actually. But I had no idea what team he played for. I would have guessed Florida.

Since there's no play to critique...heres one to start us off on our coast to 5PM.

Better player / rather have. Jack Eichel or Eric Lindros, in his prime ??

Really depends on what kind of game you like. One had pretty good teams around him, one really hasn't yet. One could do pretty much anything he wanted, cause nobody could really do anything about it, one skates around with the weight of a franchise on his shoulders with upper management that can't seem to get out of there own way but might not be the best choice to lead men into battle. This is a tough one, probably go with Lindros because he could do it all.

"This is a tough one". I take that as a compliment. The other day I told my nephew, "Make Jack Eichel the same size as Josh Allen...that's Eric Lindros". Im glad others agree.

It's a tough call, seems like Eichel has lost his passion, atleast by his facial expression and the way he acts on the ice sometimes. Lindros had all the tools for every game style.

Easy. Lindros in his prime. He was a truck out there...literally destroyed guys while getting his points. People feared Lindros. I don't think anyone out there fears Eichel.

Eric Lindros was incredible. He was playing in the dead puck era and put up huge numbers. We really haven't seen a center like Lindros since he retired. I guess Kopitar would be the closest but his blend of size, skill and truculence was better. It's a shame his career went the way it did.

Lindros for sure. He was a unicorn. We'll never see another like him

Eichel is more akin to Mats Sundin stylistically if we're comparing him to a dead puck era center

Edit: huh, tomorrow is Sundin's birthday
