It’s kinda sad. Barkley’s draft year I wanted him so badly. He hurt his throwing shoulder that year and was never the same since.

Anyways. He looked awful and weird when he did go in. So how prepared was he??

- Sabretooth9

I just wouldn’t trust he’s gonna be able to win games for us if Allen is out
We don’t win with defense & running, we win by throwing 40+ times a game
And I’ve seen ABSOLUTELY NOTHING from Barkley to think he can do the efficiently enough to help us win games

I understand not prioritizing spending $$$ on a backup QB this season, with our Cap so tight
But it’s risky
Bc if Allen is down for an extended period of time, it could likely cost us the season

How is maiden not in the rock and roll hall of fame yet?

Hopefully this year

- Boss34

Because the RRHOF is clueless.

I've been voting every day to help the cause.

I don't think they care about it, but it's the principle of the whole thing. They've sold 100 million records and sustained a 40+ year career with VERY LITTLE radio support. They're still selling out ARENAS, ffs. They deserve to be there.

1 of the top 10 (if not top 5) metal bands of all time

I couldn't believe that I heard they were up for induction, I assumed they were in for decades.

Probably top 5 with Metallica and megadeth for me. 😐
Slayer and maybe ozzie/ black sabbath

Maybe I'm missing a few....

Still no Jim Croce.

The RRHOF is a joke.

I’d bet the house Foo Fighters get in this year because of how much they do for the RRHOF.

Not defending Barkley, he leaves a lot to be desired, but I think most teams take that risk. Of all the playoff teams, is there any that if their starter went down, that they wouldn't see a huge drop in offensive production?

I understand JA scrambles more than most, but I think you are right to pause given the cap situation. Fitz at 5M could save the year, very true. 5M spent on the OL may prevent an injury in the first place. It's all a roll of the dice.

I can't argue with you there.

Perhaps Judas Priest (another band still playing arenas almost 50 (!) years into their career).

I would even make a HUGE case for Ronnie James Dio. Besides his hugely successful solo career, he was a key member in Sabbath during their resurgence and Rainbow during a very popular era of their career. And one of the finest hard rock and metal vocalists ever.

You'd be a smart betting man. Can't argue with Grohl's success, however. In an era where rock and roll as a mainstream genre is all but dead (I still look high and low for new rock and metal bands to discover, though), they are still hugely relevant.

I think Nick Foles and Philadelphia is a little too recent on anyone's minds.

It can happen. Foles did win that SB playing well.

It just seems to be so rare for a backup QB to save the day. Heck, the Sowboys thought they had a decent backup in Dalton, we all know how that worked out.

I suppose Chad Henne did get the Chiefs through a quarter and a half too.

Love to have Fitz back, but unless he's willing to take less than 2mill a year it ain't happening, the Bill's have bigger needs especially with the cap going down.

The whole idea of a Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame is stupid. There shouldn't even be one.

It wouldn't have mattered USC QBs are trash in the NFL. Carson Palmer being the exception to the rule.

Wait some of you really thought I was gonna write the blogs here hahahahaha

I mean. Being beady was a dead giveaway I thought but alas...

No I did not send my resume to Ek and no I'm not going to be a blogger, although I'm certain they'd be entertaining, but rumor has it there's a new guy in the works for us.
