The whole idea is to move Skinner for Duchene and then add to have Seattle take Duchene in the expansion draft. Thus having $9 mil in extra cap space this offseason.

I’m of the thought of you have a much greater shot in having Skinner waive to go to Nashville than Seattle.

You know whats good for shoulder pain?

- DirtyDan

Yes it's called Girl Scout Cookie or Brain Buster, and it's delicious to, but unfortunately it doesn't make my shoulder work any better.

This answers the question regarding if any players tested positive.

Jack Eichel: "There's a little bit of anxiety at the beginning of the situation when you don't know who it's going to affect and how it's going to affect them. ... You don't want to get a positive result. We obviously have a few guys who have that and our coach. It's unfortunate"

If Ralph is away for a while and they come out playing on fire (which they won't but still) do they consider asking him to step-down to recover/rethink his position and let what's working stay working?

Short answer, no. Long answer, no.

Steve Smith was an assistant under Housley who Ralph retained, which is pretty rare. With Granato most likely going upstairs due to his own health issues, Smith will be running the show, and Smith is loyal to Ralph. So Smith will implement Ralph's desires and cede power back to Ralph

If your boss told you what they wanted done in their stead, and you did the opposite, even if it was effective, you'd likely get fired because bosses generally don't like being one upped.

Wonder if ralph gives Steve some " freedom " to set the line's. Sure he's gonna want steve to run the same system I imagine....

Does Ralph have a dictatorship type demeanor?

As much as he may want out, I’d imagine he’d still like to be close to home.

Nashville is a hell of a lot closer than Seattle is.

Plus it’s Nashville..........
