Gas going up
Smokes going up
Groceries going up

Regardless of who was President this was happening. You can’t shut down a country, give out billions of dollars and expect consumer products.

The US is going to see extreme inflation. It wouldn’t of mattered if it was a dem or a rep in office.

I mean, it went from negative to like $40 in like 2 weeks last year, so what does that say about Trump?

It's asinine to think one man, even POTUS could have that big of an effect on oil prices.

Oil is still way below what it was pre-pandemic.

they cant raise the price ten fold over night. the current administration all but eliminated domestic oil, foreign oil will surely go through the roof. they now have us by the balls. it's a bad spot. gas will probably hit $4 per gallon by years end. natural gas will spike too. the middle/lower class will feel it really soon. we are in a poopty spot. the single stroke of a pen executive order is the culprit. end the keystone pipeline, it will now have to be shipped via rail..... who owned the rail lines? Warren buffet. whose campaign did he contribute to? I'm sure one can infer.

XL is for Canadian oil though. Which is only viable at elevated prices. And the rest of Keystone is already built.

Then
"Vote for me, I have a plan to fight Covid-19 at a National level"

Now
" We cannot change the trajectory of the virus"
"I urge the States not to relax or lift restrictions"
Meanwhile, several states like NY relaxing restrictions

Laughable.

We have a dearth of talent in the leadership class of the United States. Plain and simple. Our politics are such that it really takes a sociopath to want to run for anything higher than city council tbh. Further, from both right and left we've undermined just about all faith in public institutions in the U.S. (and rightfully so in many cases) and seem to have put ourselves on a long path to some sort of corporate government. If I weren't married, I'd have hired a lawyer years ago and begun immigrating to NZ or Australia.

As it now, I'm leaving for the AZ Trail March 1st. Backpacking the south rim of the Grand Canyon in April. Spent Sep - Nov on the Appalachian Trail last year. Never been so disillusioned as an American in my life. An ungovernable populace and a load of corrupt bureaucrats to rob them.

In the time I took to type this Bill De Blasio created a new office in NYC governance for his wife with a $2,000,000 staff budget.

if we can make that swap i am ok with it... always better to have more centers than wingers. and its slightly less money.. not sure which contract will end up being worse in the end though

Skinner still has a higher ceiling. Maybe Steve Smith will throw out the synergy playbook and use him better while Ralph is on the shelf. I doubt it though

It shouldn't matter, to some anyway...Skinner should have 10 goals if he played only on the PK for 4:36 per night.

Losing Mittlestadt is addition by subtraction, and, unfortunately, since we have a coach determined to bury Skinner, losing him is a plus too. I'd trade the two of them for one really solid third liner who gives me something good each night. More than we've gotten from Skinner or Mittlestadt for 2 seasons.

30 yo Duchene, playing 3 more games and 2:30 ATOI more per game; has 1 point more than 36 YO Eric Staal. He also had 5 less points last season.

Do we really want to hitch our wagon to that guy for 6 years?
I'd rather fire Ralph and put Skinner on L1 with Jack and SM for a reunion tour.

Oddly, I think I am more done and fed up with Tage than mitts. I don’t think Tage will ever learn to use his size. Dude could wreck house and be a pk monster with his reach. But he’s a big wet sloppy Nancy. His nickname should be WOP. Which should also be his theme song. If Tage had a 1/4 of Gerbe’s truculence he’d be a hall of fame player. But he doesn’t. He’s a Nancy. He can go.

And I’m not saying king of the pull-ups has that fight in him. But I’d ship Tage and see what Mitts has.

He's another piece of dead weight. But he's tall.
