Funny how Eakin takes a lot of Sh!t on here, and yes he hasn't scored, but the numbers show he has been pretty good for us.

It was always a discussion about Kahun vs Girgs. The guy who was here got rewarded for being here. Many (myself included) questioned why you reward a guy for being someplace that has not just endured, but been a reason why (a small reason, but a reason) for the worst stretch in NHL history by any team. Buffalo Sabres have missed a record amount of times between playoff appearances. But let’s keep a guy who’s been here for 7 years of that because he was here for 7 years of it instead of a younger, probably at least close in price, new guy who had been playing well at his previous two stops. Worth going on about? Probably not. Better then any political discussions? Absolutely. Just my two pennies, which to some mean something others mean nothing

Eakin has been meh. Ever since they took Cozens off that line it’s been a downward spiral.

The Reider-Eakin-Okposo line has been the worst line in hockey since they have been assembled.

Now a lot of that has to do with the fact Okposo should be put on waivers and never play another game in the Blue and Gold but guys like Verhagee and Jankark have done very well in their roles and came at a fraction of the cost

Good point, he can't help what Okposo brings. But we poses the puck more cause of his help on the dot, and so far are PK has gone from 20th in the league up to 8th and he has had a hand in that.

Lysowski had a decent article about Ralph and his line Combinations and how it is hard to find players that can mesh with Eichel's speed and skill and needs to put aside the Skinner feelings, cause obviously Skinner was one of those players.

Keep Hall on the 2nd line and let him push the pace for that line.
