Montreal paid a little over 10 mil for Josh Anderson and Tyler Toffoli

17 goals between them so far

Taylor Hall, Cody Eakin, Eric Staal cost close to 14 mil

4 goals

- sbroads24

Montreal plays in a joke division where defense is nothing more than a rumor. That's a factor, no?

1 great season doesn’t make u an “elite” QB
Just look at Lamar Jackson last year when he won the MVP,
vs this year where they ranked him 14th

I think Allen will be really good again next year,
but there’s plenty of examples of QBs taking a step back
We’ll just have to wait & see how it goes

Imagine telling an Eagles fan in 2017 they’d be trading Wentz in 2021.

Imagine telling a Rams fan fresh off a SB loss and a Goff extension that they’d be trading him along with two firsts and a third for Stafford two years later.

Fitz has a point.

If they can get an actual playmaker at RB, the offense could take that step

Gotta improve on the Oline for that to happen.

Jim benning screwed up a wet dream in Vancouver.

Their amateur scouting staff hits home run after home run and that buffoon cratered their cap and made terrible decisions at the pro level.

Anyone who has watched Goff for any amount of time could have told you he's a system QB. Always has been

Pretty good as Pass Blocking, not very good at Run Blocking. Think you fix the interior a bit and they would be decent. Dawkins and Williams if they can resign him are good tackles. I would cut Morse, resign Feliciano move him to C and and sign DJ Fluker to play G, and put Ford at the other G.

Watching the Blues/Yotes replay.

Larsson got in a scrap with Schenn and handled himself quite well, landing a few nice ones.

I guess he feels like he has to do SOMETHING this year, since he has zero points in 11 games and is a minus 5.

I know they like Ryan Bates, too.

I like the Feliciano to C move. It makes too much sense.

Sal had a nice write-up on the state of the OL on GR's website.

Yeah that Bates is a nice player to have he can play anywhere on the Oline.

I agree 100%.

I also believe that the Allen we saw this year is the one we should see moving forward but there are QB’s that have had incredible singular seasons only to regress.

I don’t think Cam Newton was ever the same after 2015.
