At some point, you have to consider that it might be the players. The Bills were an impossible team to make successful - Yet here we are, enjoying 3 of 4 years in the playoffs, were 1 win away from the Super Bowl this year, had an MVP caliber QB and are fun to watch again. After about half the amount of time of owning then than they have the Sabres.

At some point, maybe Eichel really did run players and coaches out of town. Maybe Gorges and Gionta were right about not liking him. Maybe Housley was right in almost choking him out.

Maybe he's just releasing phony statements to the press to look like a golden boy.

Everyone except him and our "core" have been blamed for the losing.

Eichel, Reinhart, Ristolainen, Girgensons, McCabe, Ullmark and add Skinner, Thompson, Dahlin, Montour and the rest of them at his point. These guys don't know how to win, and maybe some don't want to win.

I cannot make excuses for Skinner's poor play anymore. I cannot defend Ristolainen as a complete liability in his own end. I can't defend Dahlin looking like a confused high-schooler out there. I cannot defend Girgensons lack of overall skill. I can't defend Ullmark - He has good positioning but absolutely sucks at his position. Montour acts like he's drunk on the ice. McCabe is a concrete-footed, mindless idiot on the ice. Thompson is beyond awful. Olofsson is useless unless he's on the power-play. Seriously. 8 of 10 points on the PP. Reinhart is still wimpy and can't do anything unless he's playing with Eichel.

Okposo blows still. Staal plays 50% of his shifts with effort, the other 50% he looks disinterested.

All of them suck except Lazar, Cousins and Reider. It's actually insane.

That's pretty spot on.
I require an even lower bar of being fandom.

I let guy's that generally play hard shift after shift to their athletic abilities.

Gigs, cement foot McCabe, Lazar, reider, and risto get the "try hard" pass for me.

Olo, joker , cozens, all still new great prospects that I think we can build around.

Dahlin clueless
Sam
Hall - not making a difference
Staal - slow , but a 2c

Eichel - just not likeable. Some people are just d!cks.
Torn between absolute dominance superstar status vs. Impossible to work with guy.

Guy in the next cubicle that just isn't funny. Can't take a joke. Just socially disfunctional. Thinks he's hot Sh1t and is great at his job. Hits the sales mark and bonuses.

Basically a work friend. That you secretly hate. But he's the manager. And his Dad knows the boss.

The one guy I didn't want was Josh Anderson, I appear to be wrong on that.
- ImThatGuy

Strange because I drafted him in the hockeybuzz larry league.

Montreal looks really good.
Suzuki, toffoli, anderson, good starting and back up goaltending.

Petry is completely underrated

Well let's see when they do get back to work if they can change things up, Eichel and Rhino get healthy. There's a lot of talent there, see if they can figure things out and play like a Team.

All of them are playing well. The good players aren't. That actually gives me hope because I think that'll change.

The new Larrys (with the exception of Eakin) are all good

I actually thought Eakin was doing alright until they put Okposo on that line.

Clearly the "top 2" pick crowd could score some more goals. Skinner too.

- jdfitz77

Toffoli has always been really good, and he’s making half of what Hall will make if he’s re-signed.

Makes no difference whether it’s the end of the season or not
