I'm a super homer, so I've looked most of them
Muckler RIP

Not phail
Ralph

New management team : Ralph

LET THESE SCRUBS WALK:
Vesey
Erod
Sobatka
Simmonds
Bogo
Nelson
Larry
Frolic
Ka boo hun

Things I like:

- signed hall and staal
- extended girgs
- like reider on the pk
- skinner on his own line (minority here)
- 1 year cheap deal with sam
- 2 for olo at a good price
-pacing cozens

What do you like / dislike with ralph

Clearly no good goalie sucks

- Boss34

Yes I can't stand Hutton
Would have kept Kahun over Girgs. Sorry
Like the Staal and Hall moves
It seems like 2 different teams depending on who is in net.
And don't think Ralph is playing a system that benefits the players he has.

No apology neccessary in regards to girgs.
I respect your opinion 👍
Some of the other posters with the identical opinion can stick it 😉

I also have always liked risto and McCabe. Seem's like they are playing the best hockey of their careers under ralph.

I do like Risto and McCabe's game. I think Ralph hasn't adapted as much as he's needed to, with how the game is played know. I watched NJ's young team and really wonder what Ruff could do with this bunch.

I think most agree with the bold
Problem is that we can’t open it up offensively unless we know we can depend on the goaltending

And while Ullmark has been good so far this season, our goaltending overall was a question coming in
Tough to change the system midseason

And even if we did think the goaltending would’ve been good enough this season....
without much of a preseason, we couldn’t have done much this offseason either

Maybe we can slowly start to open things up a little bit, but idk if we can even expect that?

As a Sabres fan , there is alway's a villain. Always a Mark.

I really kinda agree with GM3.

Easy to blame the Pegula's. The Buffalo Bill's trajectory puts that to sleep. I've never really blamed them. Kim is an extremely dedicated to making the experience top notch. Including the 716/ labatt house ect.

Coach Ralph- easy mark with questionable player usage. Definitely gets the best out of some players. Too early to see if its gonna work out. Added grit , which was/is needed, if we make the playoffs.

Eichel- probably him. Bad attitude. Self absorbed.

This is what scares me. How many hall of famers have we chased out of this town? A lot. I remember every playoff failure in the 80's required someone to be sacrificed.

Not blaming the Pegula's, funny how it doesn't even look like Ralph's buddy Hall is even having fun out there.

👍

Buffalo Bill's coaches seem to be an easy target over the years as well.

At some point, you have to consider that it might be the players. The Bills were an impossible team to make successful - Yet here we are, enjoying 3 of 4 years in the playoffs, were 1 win away from the Super Bowl this year, had an MVP caliber QB and are fun to watch again. After about half the amount of time of owning then than they have the Sabres.

At some point, maybe Eichel really did run players and coaches out of town. Maybe Gorges and Gionta were right about not liking him. Maybe Housley was right in almost choking him out.

Maybe he's just releasing phony statements to the press to look like a golden boy.

Everyone except him and our "core" have been blamed for the losing.

Eichel, Reinhart, Ristolainen, Girgensons, McCabe, Ullmark and add Skinner, Thompson, Dahlin, Montour and the rest of them at his point. These guys don't know how to win, and maybe some don't want to win.

I cannot make excuses for Skinner's poor play anymore. I cannot defend Ristolainen as a complete liability in his own end. I can't defend Dahlin looking like a confused high-schooler out there. I cannot defend Girgensons lack of overall skill. I can't defend Ullmark - He has good positioning but absolutely sucks at his position. Montour acts like he's drunk on the ice. McCabe is a concrete-footed, mindless idiot on the ice. Thompson is beyond awful. Olofsson is useless unless he's on the power-play. Seriously. 8 of 10 points on the PP. Reinhart is still wimpy and can't do anything unless he's playing with Eichel.

Okposo blows still. Staal plays 50% of his shifts with effort, the other 50% he looks disinterested.

All of them suck except Lazar, Cousins and Reider. It's actually insane.
