You get paid $10M dollars to look after your body.

I have no idea how one gets hurt in the offseason.

He was off for 10 months

He got hurt training. Should he have been playing video games instead?

ice time 5 on 5

game 1 lazar 10.2 min eakin 11.2
game 2 lazar 8.45 min eakin 12.1 min
game 3 lazar 11.2 min (2 goals) eakin 12.5
game 4 lazar 12 min eakin 11.4
game 5 lazar 12 min eakin 16
game 6 lazar 7.5 min eakin 11.1
game 7 lazar 9.3 min eakin 14.3
game 8 lazar 11 min eakin 12 min
game 9 lazar 8 min eakin 12 min
game 10 lazar 10 min eakin 11 min

at a glance that's 15 percent more ice time for the reo line

lazar, sheahan and whomever is the 4th line

- homiedclown

1- still not much of a difference
2- go back & re-read, it’s what I would do,
not what Ralph is doing now, or will do
3- Cozens could ease in at Center in the bottom6 before moving to “2C” and still get enough icetime bc of the PP time he gets
4- and again, what I would do is limit the REO line’s icetime bc they’re largely ineffective anyways

Yes but there are still 9 or 10 teams with atleast 20mill or more in space even if it goes down to 175m

No, but he shouldn’t have been going to the brink of injury either.

Sure
But if he’s holding out for a particular number,
those teams are gonna spend their $$$ elsewhere

Then he’ll have to sign for less than he wants elsewhere
We’ll just have to see what happens

I highly doubt he was throwing dumbells in the air and trying to flip Volkswagens. He got hurt training which is part of his job. That's a silly take to say he did something wrong

Oh I agree, it's gonna be interesting, he does have a little injury history.

That could also play into a team not wanting to spend top dollar on him

He very well could be gone though

Have you seen how these athletes work out?Every single one of them is on the brink of injury, with how hard they go.

Ok
That wouldn’t surprise me
Never said it would sir
We spent more on our Def line than any other team this year,
and we weren’t good at stopping the run
And our sack leader had like 6

I hated the D-line moves we made this past offseason.... yuck

Sure did the 1st time we played KC,
didn’t it?

Are u just trying to argue today?
It’s just a metric to show the D-line was ineffective

Well Star opting out hurt a lot, it affected that Dline more then anyone expected and Butler, Jefferson and maybe even Addison will be gone come March.

We weren’t great at stopping the run last year either
Losing Star may have hurt, but exactly how much is debatable

So in a 13-3 season and a 2-1 playoff record it mattered one time - not to mention the Bills explicitly said they wanted the Chiefs to run to keep Mahomes from throwing (obviously that plan sucked)

The sack point I will agree with you, but the run game? Not so much.

They held Derrick Henry to like 53 yards. When they wanted to stop the run, they did

We didn’t really “stop” the run with our D-line play
We scored enough to make teams abandon it

The TEN game is an outlier
They passed all over us on the middle of the field
Probably bc we were so committed to stopping the run

REGARDLESS....
the point is that the D-line wasn’t good
