Skinner can't be judged with the line mates hes had idgaf about 9million you have to put your best players in positions to succeed not put them in positions to suck cause you can't get along with them.

He’s had several good chances but seems to be super tight. I’m sure he realizes for 9 mil per year he should be able to capitalize on some of his chances whether they come on the first or fourth line. He is a true goal scorer and he will get the monkey off his back. It certainly would be nice to see him play with Eichel or Staal though on a regular basis. I would put Skinner with Staal and Cozens and leave it that way. Let Cozens take some shifts at Center.

Skinner has had some really good chances because of his linemates, he is snake bitten
- Buff36

Since the first couple games I haven't seen his line mates do anything for him. He is snake bitten but that isn't rare given hes playing on the 4th line with guys that wouldn't be here if injuries were turned off.

Good for you but you're blaming the wrong guy. You don't put your best goal scorer in the worst place with the worst people. That's not how hockey works......

Does Eichel or any of the Vets not voice their opinions or are they going on deaf ears? Cause I would not be letting this happen if I was Jack. I get he's not the coach but even Brady gave Belicheck his 2 cents.

And those worse players have more goals than are 9m winger. Hey I agree he should be playing with different players. But stop with he hasn't had any chances. If he cashed some of his chances he would have 5 goals by know, Jesus on Saturday he was set up perfectly by Olofsson but he forgot Hockey is played with a stick.

I’d put Skinner-Eichel-Reinhart back together
Then let Hall “carry” line2 with Staal & either Cozens or Olofsson
If the idea is to get Cozens at center at some point, I’d consider putting him at 3C first for a bit to ease him into playing Center in the NHL

Huh?
What’s that got to do with the top9 ?

The REO line can still stay in tact if Cozens plays some 3C

Whatever u want to call them is inconsequential
The “3rd” and “4th” lines have similar icetime regardless of which is listed as which

Sounds like Milano might have played his last game in Buffalo, be very surprised if the Bill's will go 13mill a year for him, not with the cap supposedly going down.

IMO, Eichel is half checked out. I can really see this as his last year here
He sees the guy he had great chemisty with with being pinned to the 4th line becasue he has to earn ice time while he has to try and carry Tage Thompson and Casey Mittlestat

This is just my humble opinion of course but it appears that the forward group missed Sam the last 2 games.
Which is why I just don't understand the hatred for Sam.🤷🏻‍♂️

In my opinion, the 3 stars for the Buffalo Sabres at this point of the season are;

Linus
Rasmus
Sam
3rd GM's the charm

Yeah so I met this girl and she seems really nice, hot, got a lot of potential for FTWIT, and I'm really into her.

But she keeps sucking dudes off when I'm not around.

Idk. It's only been 9 dates though, so it's a small sample size.

I think I need to give her time. She'll come around. We're 1 date away from engagement.

^This is how all of the apologists sound when talking about the Sabres right now.

ice time 5 on 5

game 1 lazar 10.2 min eakin 11.2
game 2 lazar 8.45 min eakin 12.1 min
game 3 lazar 11.2 min (2 goals) eakin 12.5
game 4 lazar 12 min eakin 11.4
game 5 lazar 12 min eakin 16
game 6 lazar 7.5 min eakin 11.1
game 7 lazar 9.3 min eakin 14.3
game 8 lazar 11 min eakin 12 min
game 9 lazar 8 min eakin 12 min
game 10 lazar 10 min eakin 11 min

at a glance that's 15 percent more ice time for the reo line

You get paid $10M dollars to look after your body.

I have no idea how one gets hurt in the offseason.

He was off for 10 months
