That’s the problem. I don’t see Ralph going anywhere because pegs loves him. So the best I can hope for is sending him up to the executive suite and maybe get a real coach.

I am at a loss with this team. Zero consistency. You’d expect the top 6 to do something... jack doesn’t look like jack. Dahlin looks the furthest from generational. I’m not sure hutton fixed his eyesight. But risto looks serviceable, Rieder and Lazar look ok.

I just don’t know where to begin... yes they are in playoff contention but do they look like a playoff team?!? Something just ain’t right with this group... again...

- Gr8daygo

lack of effort comes from within

look at mccabe on that last goal, just stood there without a stick with the shooter getting the pass

no effort to slide and stop the pass
no effort to take out the shooter
no effort to block the shot

we can see 15 examples or more of this every night

it's the little things that either this coach can't teach or this locker room can't do

say they sneak in to the playoffs, you can't just turn on the switch then if you refuse to do it on a daily basis

my 2 cents

Pegula loves Ralph, can't see him going but if he does, you want him gone not in the front office............. just plain gone.

you got eichel

yet you set the tone to start the game with your checking line

you have a tv commercial break with 2.5 minutes left and down a goal
instead of coming out with a scoring line, you roll with your 4th line

the mentality on this coach is to sit back, not attack

Strange, Edmonton started with McDavid off the opening face off.

It might be time to consider trading eichel ?

Top 3 all time sabre, but year 6 without a playoff appearance, when 1/2 the league makes it.

3 years with eichel under his rookie deal

Is it really Ralph's fault that :
Skinner , jack, dahlin, hall and sam have 6 goals total?

Some has to fall on the players

That's the thing Boss, I really don't like Krueger's system with the players he has. But when is it time to put some of the blame on these players.

It is, however, Ralph's fault that he almost arrogantly and defiantly refuses to put 53 with 9 for more than a few shifts.

99% of the fans call for it and he acts like he's the smartest one in the room.

I know we've gone over this as nauseum, but wtf.

skinner played better under phil
dahlin played better under phil
hall played better in other teams system

this can go on for almost everyone but maybe risto

is it easier to move the core with value, or the coach who's system doesn't work with this core?

we moved out larsson, vesey, johansson, sheary, e rod, scandella, frolik, sobotka, wilson, simmonds, kahun, pilut

and really no better 5 on 5 this year despite adding a hart trophy winner, cozens, rieder, staal, sheahan and eakin

The Buffalo Sabres have recalled Jean-Sebastien Dea and placed him on the taxi squad.
Dea had 15 goals and 24 helpers with Rochester last season. He has no fantast value.

The Buffalo Sabres have recalled winger C.J. Smith and placed him on the taxi squad.
Smith played 50 games with Rochester last season, scoring 12 times and adding 15 assists. He has no fantasy value and it wouldn't be a surprise if he was back in the minors shortly.

Oh Joy more trash.

And some have been good and some have been blah. So the system has players missing shots on net, players not going to the dirty areas, running around in there own end like chickens with there heads cut off.

Hopefully Skinner agrees to waive somewhere. He does not fit with RK at all

And hopefully they clear cap space to sign 23. By far this teams most important winger

Hopefully he's back soon

BINGO!!

I've come to learn over the last few years spite is one of, perhaps the most, powerful human motivators. When one considers the paucity of 5 x 5 scoring, the number of lesser players who have shuffled through Jack's line, the drop off in 53's production since leaving Jack's line, the only objective conclusion is spite is that unspoken thing that keeps 53 buried.

ralph and skinner is almost at the point where one has to go

listening to the post game with ralph answering why casey was the extra skater instead of skinner was painful to listen to

can't imagine how it is in the locker room

Absolutely agree the players need to step it up and take responsibility.

That said, it has taken the head coach 10 games to begin optimizing his lines ...something the knowledgeable fan base has been talking about for ...well, before the 10 games.
He is stubborn to a fault, and seems bent on sub optimizing his roster and is insistent on relying on some players beyond their capabilities
- Tage on L1 multiple times
- Okposo playing at all
- conservative approach with Dahlin
- Skinner w 10 TOI until a few shifts with Eichel
- Hall and Eichel together when they virtually cancel each other out

To not recognize these as success barriers is simply mindblowing

Casey Mittelstadt was used as an extra attacker when we needed a goal instead of a guy who usually scores greasy goals around the net like Skinner does.

Krueger cares more about his vendetta's and "principles" than trying to win

COach talks about earning ice time.
Puts Tage Thompson and Casey Mittlestadt on the top lines.
