I’m a huge Skinner fan

But he’s being absolutely torpedoed by Krueger

- sbroads24

I think we are at the point where one of them needs to go

if tage thrives, ralph can try to make a case to keep skinner on bottom line

eakin is the new larsson, overused

good coaches shuffle lines around to get good players out of their slumps

skinner can play rw, he even said so

coach refuses to put him in a place to thrive

- homiedclown

I’m NOT arguing against that
I’ve said over & over & over to move Skinner up

What I’m saying RIGHT NOW....
is that despite our faults, this team is still only 1point out of they playoffs
So instead of just b!tching about them,
I’ll remain positive & cheer them on....
AND HOPEFULLY they’ll make some of the changes we’ve all been beating to death (incl myself)

So, using Sean Tierney's graphs off Charting Hockey site, the game Thursday night in "all situations" shows
~1.8 xGA/60
~1.0 xGF/60

Having watched the game, does anyone really support the natural conclusion that because Ullmark let in 3G's that he should be dinged with a -1.2 GSAVX?
If so, I am clearly missing something and would sincerely love an explanation.

If this Advanced Stat is truly telling us that, I really have to question it as a good barometer of actual play.

- IonSabres

I'm not sure how Sean arrives at his numbers, but the site I use shows 2.46xGA and 1.12xGF for the Sabres against the Rangers this past Thursday night.

Eakin wins face offs, even in ot.

Tage has elite tallness, spin-o-Rama power, and a killer shot. Seriously, it’s killer, he can’t hit the net so watch your head...

Hate 'em. Hockey was meant to be watched at night. Also, I would LOVE to find out what our overall record is for afternoon games. I would be willing to guess below .500

I like Kreugers system, dislike his lines

I understand putting Skinner on his own because he’s a one man band regardless of who he plays with but he should at least have guys who can semi produce like Staal and Cozens.
