he produced with olofsson on the pp, pk and 5 on 5

he has 3 points in 30 nhl games because ralph plays him with larrys

if sheahan gets goose eggs in the next 3 weeks, he will be known as larry the teletubby

- homiedclown

Sure but for now I think he's been fine. He's a little faster than I thought he'd be, he can PK and he's chipping in a small amount of offense.

I'm with you on Eakin. He largely sucks. The only good thing he has done is win faceoffs late in the game in the d zone. I dont see anything in Asplund

We have zero grit, Eichel looks checked out, Halls not what we thought, Staal is terrible, Eakin is terrible, Ullmark will only be able to keep this Houdini act up for so long, Dahlin is still a couple of years away, Skinners contract really sucks. Sounds like rebuild to me. I would rather watch a bunch of young guys that put everything on the line and scrap, battle to win then what I’ve seen from this team this year and most recent years
- lulags

U have the option to stop watching
Idk what else to tell ya?
I’d like to see some changes made,
but until then.... I’ll cheer on my team who (as of now) is in the playoff race

I watched a few rochester games, bit the bullet and paid for them

he looked great with olofsson, that is all I am basing it on

the roster is constructed so poorly that the only way casey, asplund or quinn gets a shot is if they put cozens on the taxi squad because they can't risk losing fringe nhl players like lazar and sheahan to waivers

that alone is pretty f'd up

- homiedclown

That’s how every team in the league is constructed
If Mitts, Quinn & Asplund can’t beat out Lazar or Sheahan- then they either aren’t “ready” or just aren’t very good

Hatred is really strong, so is ranting. I'm sorry that the facts back up that the Sabres still are without a viable second line, despite acquiring a super cool name that everyone got their panties soaked over.

Staal predictably looks very old to start this year. It is what it is.

- sbroads24

He’s been playing better the last few games
And we all knew it could take a bit for these guys to all gel together
Lots of new forwards here dude

you are missing the point

they can only call one of them up if they send cozens back to the taxi squad

they refuse to expose sheahan or lazar to waivers

It appears to me that posters like this are expressing their frustration from watch 9 seasons of crap hockey, waiting for them to be good and cheering them on with good intentions (well except for those 2 tank yers when most were rooting for the tank)...then need to vent over the frustration of incompetence from players, coaches, GMs and owners.

So who is to say he and many others aren't cheering for them when they watch alot, probably nearly every game.

he should be fired for the skinner issue alone IMO

he witnessed the hutton struggle first hand last season and kept him on the roster and played him instead of getting a different goalie

all he had to do was tell botts that it was bad and hutton needed to go on ir

those two issues alone get us the one point we needed to make the play in last fall

adams leaned on him for the offseason

so what do we do, overpay for one of our own, and then grab eakin at inflated value which we are stuck with for another season

grab sheahan at the last minute, now we can't play 2 kids in the lineup because they are worried about another team claiming freaking sheahan or lazar

this process f@cking sucks

at this point I will take coach X behind the curtain over what we have

- homiedclown

Hutton was saying he was fine all along too
How was Ralph to know he was having vision issues of Hutton didn’t tell him?

Bring in Gallant. Send Ralph upstairs. Only because pegs’ loves them some Ralph. It’s the synergetic way!

But you are probably right. Who pointed pegs’ have never kept a coach past two years?

It’s a shame. The team has more talent than they’ve had in a while and it’s just not used or developed properly.

They should haves tossed duds the keys to the franchise but that’d be to smart...

We’ve all been frustrated
This team is 1point out of a playoff spot,
and gotten very little from our best players yet
There are reasons to be hopeful/positive if you choose
If u don’t, then i guess that’s fine
But I’d rather wait on the doom & gloom bullsh!t
Doesn’t do any good anyways!

Still waiting for this kid to prove me wrong though
Maybe he starts today with a goal or 2?

If skinner scored on a couple of his 30+ opportunities, Krueger looks brilliant.

We need guys that can score WITHOUT eichel.

Skinner has the talent to do just that. He has looked great this year, aside from the scoring part.....

Olo, sam , tage, hall all have had the opportunity.....

Realistically only hall can really score without eichel...

And skinner....

- Boss34

Umm, could not put a golf ball into a lake and then gives up on play after first attempt, takes stupid costly penalty ect ect. Needs to play with Eichel to produce. We can get that player for 1/3 of his salary

Thanks, and I have paid to watch every Sabres game for the past 15 years,
Or how ever long Center ice has been available. I will always be a fan.
Die hard fan. Just can’t get over the comedy of errors and waste of a true generational talent.

good coaches shuffle lines around to get good players out of their slumps

skinner can play rw, he even said so

coach refuses to put him in a place to thrive

Ok, who cares about the comparison?
Expose them both if u want

Then u can get Mitts & Asplund up here
But neither have showed much of anything in the NHL yet

We should consider trading Mitts if any team still thinks he’s got any value
What a disappointment so far- ugh

I’m a huge Skinner fan

Best thing is for him to waive and us take on another contract that’s hopefully smaller or someone this idiot coach actually likes

I’m all for spreading out the scoring, and Skinner will eventually get out of the slump (he’s gonna score today)

But he’s being absolutely torpedoed by Krueger
