Positives -

Olofsson was really good

So was Hall and Jokiharju for the most part

Negatives -

I hate the coach and goalies more than I hate Covid

- sbroads24

26 crosses the blue line and drop passes. Isn’t he supposed to be an offensive dman? Not very good.
- Da_Cashman

It’s what they are being taught.

Zero d men leading rushes. Not just Dahlin.

D men get to the blue line and oss the puck or dump it.

It’s embarrassing.

Imagine it’s 2021 and you have a soccer coach who thinks blindly throwing the puck into a corner of the zone is a good way to maintain possession.

I'm digging for positives but they didn't quit.

That is honestly good. They battled

The fact that Krueger went with - and stayed with - Hutton is inexcusable

They didn’t give up. And 3rd was prob their best period. If it wasn’t for that stupid turnover right after McCabes goal, they might be going to OT right now. Sorry for being so positive.

I’ve been harsh all night but it’s a clear
Lack of chemistry with the good players and our bad players were exposed as usual. Hutton is an abomination. That empty netter is his fault to. If he didn’t suck so bad we wouldn’t need to pull the goalie.

Yeah. They will be ok if they can get some (frank)ing saves and for the love of god stop playing 55 as a #1 D man

Who plays 2C now?

Cozens, Eakin, Lazar, Reinhart, Mittelstadt or Hall?

Don't answer that, it's Eakin, obviously

No positive they lost. We have been looking for the positive take aways from losses for years.

Start winning and I’ll start looking at positives.

We are, as I and most have said, a real goalie and a solid veteran D man away from being a real team

Soft sam cant take the hit to make the play with the puck on his stick in the caps zone. Gives it up with ease. Game over.

Olofsson is a sniper.

We’ve been a goalie away for a year and a half yet here we are still playing Hutton.

They literally are not even being coached. The coach literally said he wasn't going to coach them tonight.

My 5-3 Caps prediction was looking decent...oh well, good on the PP!

Very sloppy game, whole team looked way out of synch. That said, I expected more out of Hall and Jack, honestly I thought they looked like sh!t together...were looking for Tage too much for some odd reason.

I focused a bit on Skinner..I'll be interested to hear Ralph spectator's view. I thought his play was decent...stayed above the puck, backchecked decently, made some plays...didn't get a lot of help from Lazar.

Hard to argue but better team than us and clearly the length of not playing played a factor

If Staal is out, I guarantee Ralph is going to put Eakin there instead of Cozens or even Hall (who, yes, has played center)

We are (frank)ed if our center depth is back to square one

If he's out long term the season ended tonight

Hopefully Ralph will switch some things up tomorrow

1 game is a very small sample size though
On the other hand, we can’t afford to get off to a slow start this season
